Another day here in Ohio tending to Josef's foot. Ran errands and later Lark and Audrey and I will go to class and practice paying attention and behaving. Judy, I have always tries to warn first time RV buyers about deceptive storage spaces. I had a rig once that had so few that I didn't worry about what went into outside storage but I had to always think about where tanks were and where heavy inside stuff was located. I now have adequate outside storage, especially in the back, that is big enough to be useful but remind myself to throw the x-pens and lighter chairs back there sometimes and I bring the heavier dog crates and grooming table inside so I can distribute the weight better.
Thanks for joining the conversation Sarah. Progress is progress, I think as we get older we need to be kind to ourselves and give us credit when ever we keep heading in the right direction. We should just throw out the measures we used 20 years ago.....
I heard somewhere that the fall colors here in Ohio were about 2 weeks behind because we had such warm weather for so long. The temps on the last few days are suppose to do the trick and tell the trees, "It's time!" I'll still be here to watch them change.
And, yes, Martha. Practice towing that car, other than evaluating corners and parking lots more thoroughly, it really is pretty darn easy. There is a reason folks do it and they can't all be super talented. It is a learnable skill. I imagine that you have driven much more challenging vehicle combinations in the course of the farm and horse show life. Go for it! Like we often say, start with the large empty parking lot.
