Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Morning....well so far it is good. It has started to sprinkle here in central OKlahoma. We have that cold front coming through and bringing more rain. Thanks Beth for this cool down, but we don’t need the rain. I decided to try and outrun the rain and storms here and sit tight at my sisters. If it gets bad here I have no place to go for protection and at her place I have the house at least for some protection. I have been here at an Elks Lodge for about 9 nights and really like the accommodations. My second time to stay here. Got to visit with friends from my past work days. We got pretty much caught up. I will be back to go through a local museum that has Seals from the past rulers/kings/important men, Isaiah and Hezekiah. Can’t wait to get a chance to go through that exhibit. It is currently closed until next weekend. About time to head to warmer parts of the world. This cold front should drop temps for a few days about 20-30 degrees and in some areas 40 degrees. Hope everyone is feeling good. Bethers, be careful on the road, as the crazy weather may follow you ;) . Hoping everyone on the road is safe and the sitting still folks are having fun. See ya down the road.

Good Morning Birdie and all. Cold front came through here early this morning and temps have dropped 30+ degrees so far. Now in the 40’s but the winds are dying down. Some areas to my north and also the U.P. Had sone severe weather. You are right about this crazy westher. Looking at a warming trend early next week. Maybe it will stop being wet and damp. Do I can get my trailer winterized, washed and covered. O’Sharon, thought about you the other night when the tornado warnings were popping up your way. Glad they missed you.

Waiting for the carpet cleaners to come in about half an hour. Another fall chore will be done. Just need to wash windows one of these days when mom nature cooperates. Friends may be coming by today too.

Lyn, glad that you are going to be able to get some PT done. Hope it helps. Beth, enjoy your journey and keep safe on your travels.

Have a nice day all :)

Birdie, were you making predictions? If so please do so on the side of good. I'm stopped at a Walmart because winds picked up. First I couldn't leave this morning because we were getting freezing rain. Nasty stuff. That got better... Got 50 or so miles where I stopped for propane so at least now I know it won't run out overnight... Lowest I've let that go. Shortly after I knew I had headwinds... And they kept getting worse. So I made it to the next town and Walmart here I sit.

Now to make plans for tomorrow that won't work lol

Sounds like a neat Elks lodge, Birdie. And stay safe yourself.

Sue, yes, crazy weather!

The cold front hasn't made it here and probably won't. I made it to the campground finally. I was all ready to leave and my battery was deader than a door nail. It took over an hour to get it started with the battery charger. This is a sister's on the fly campout and I think there will be 47 women. There are a lot of the Louisiana Belles here so I know a few. There is a nice meeting room here and the crafters are in full swing.

Birdie, when you head South just bring the cool air not the cold. lol I'm not ready to start whining about the cold yet. Thank you for the bottle of red moscato. It was very good. No one wanted to help me drink it.

Good afternoon gals!

Beth, glad you stopped before it got too windy and blew you off the road! :o

Nice day here today. We apparently had heavy rain overnight but I didn't hear a thing. My roommate told me about it. We sure need it! Altho, I am sure the weeds will be popping up soon all over my yard  .

Being kind of lazy today but have gotten a few things done. I found a bunch of fleas on Emily again this morning (Lola doesn't have any). I gave Emily a bath with Dawn soap. She screamed bloody murder thru the whole thing. I am sure the neighbors thought I was killing her! I don't understand why the flea meds aren't working on her. Most of the fleas are right around her neck and head where I put the flea drops. I even put a flea collar on her the other day and it didn't help at all. Maybe I will have to take her to a vet and get the super stuff ($$$) they use.

Need to run to WM and pick up a few things yet today. Oh yeah, and get back to my laundry I started...totally forgot about that! Then watch Murphy Brown tonight!

Enjoy the rest of your day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie...putting flea meds on and then later a flea collar, could very likely kill the cat! All of that stuff is poison, tread carefully.
I'm not lost, I'm on an adventure!
