quiet Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

quiet Thursday

Waiting for my handyman and his dad to show up to finish hooking up the sink in the bathroom this morning.

Got nice and cool over night so the house felt good this morning! Am tired tho and already feel a nap coming on!

I have a question...I ordered something from Amazon that was damaged in transit this week by the shipper and was returned to them. Will they automatically ship a new one or do I need to reorder it? I can't seem to find any way to contact them to ask. Any of you have any experience with this situation?

On Saturday, the park here is having a Labor Day picnic and luckily I have the day off so will attend that. There are all new people on the HOA committee and they have some fun stuff planned coming up. Once a month, they will have an all-you-can-eat dinner. The first one in October is pot roast and mashed potatoes, etc. One of my favorite meals! :D I know our semi-annual carport sale is coming up in October and I have quite a lot to put in for that. My roommate can help out with that too.

That's about it here. Have a good day! :D

Barbie, if you don't have contact info on the seller, contact Amazon.

Nothing exciting here today. Was chilly this morning, dying and mid-80's now. Lots I could be doing, but just want to rest lol.

Smoke is back...dang it. I loved the few days we had with clear blue skies and no smoke. But the wind shifted and we are back to very unhealthy and hazardous air...sigh

I did get outside early and finish my outside painting job. But then I was painting in the sun and got too dang hot so quit for today, just have small amount left to paint before I start staining the fence.

Judy my shower flexes also but I dont have any leaks ................yet LOL

Going to have some lunch then watch some sort of movie on Netflix or Amazon Video, undecided right now.

Not much going on here as usual. I hemmed two pair of what I call high water jeans that I wouldn't wear and made capris out of them. I though my sewing machine was broken but finally got it to work. Going through a box of papers that somehow survived the flood. Some are as old as 2000. If I didn't need them in 18 years I guess I can burn them. I found a brochure for 2004 Chinook Motorhomes. Wish I had bought one of those back then. I would probably still have it.

I was watching my neighbor messing with his chicken cages. He has 2 big cages that he moves around his property. I don't think they are any taller than 3 feet high so every time he has to do anything in them he has to get on his hands and knees. I would like to ask him if he had known how hard it was to get on his hands and knees now would he have built the cages taller. He's a few years older than I am.

I have been wanting to make a quiche and when I was in Whole Foods the other day I bought one. I ate 1/4 yesterday and 1/4 today and I'm about sick of it. It's suppose to have ham in it but there isn't much. Not looking forward to 2 more meals of it but too tight to throw it away. lol

Beth, I did contact the original seller and they told me that the item gets sent back to Amazon and to contact them. I can't find a contact number or email for them. I tried the chat thing but that wouldn't work.

I can't wait to get my sewing machine finally set up in my bedroom soon! I have lots of little sewing projects to do.

Barbie, on my app, I'd go into customer service... Orders are shown and a link for "returns and refunds". It's really easy on Amazon.
