I doubt I would be able to get my neighbor to do anything with her yard since she is very ill. Her yard is pretty much all crushed rock anyways and I doubt fleas hang out on rocks. And not much I can do about the creek and woods on the other side of me either.

I still believe that the fleas came from that dog I had. I think a ton of eggs hatched from the blanket in the kennel she slept in, in my bedroom. They were everywhere in my room when I got back from my trip to MN. Never saw one before I got the dog.
Oh, and my cats never go outside,

I am going to be working every day for the next 7 days because of back to school haircuts so won't have much time to do the flea bomb but will try to find a few spare hours to do it. The sooner the better. I think fogging at least twice is probably a really good idea to get any that I miss the first time and any eggs that hatch in between. Will need to retreat the cats too.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Anne - I don't think animals would lick flea collars or try to eat them. After all, they are put on animals all the time without problems. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, but as a deterrent they seem to do quite well. As a killer, not so much. It's the future generations I was after. I haven't tried the collar pieces myself yet. Hope Barbie plays tester! Sounds like it may take a week or more, tho,Barbie. Evie
