No one up this morning or already off doing your thing?

I am still lounging in bed but will get up shortly to get ready for work later.

Have a good day! :D

I did sleep in. I love days I don't have to set an alarm... And Ty was quickly trained that there is no set time we get up. Sturgis, so far, is a dud. Yes, lots of bikes, but this should be a crazily busy weekend and, so far, not. I still will be in and out more than normal, but boring!

Ty is an amazing dog. Very smart. And will always be very stubborn lol.

At some point today I intend to go up on my roof and inspect it. It's been too long since my last inspection... Something to do with it always raining. None called for today. So I should be good to go.

It is afternoon here. I did get up early for the farmers market but I've already had a nap. Busy day yesterday, I met friends for lunch and a bit of shopping then went to see if Emma could pass her Canine Good Citizen test. She did really well and Tina was there to cheer her on! She and Joseph are here for the dog show that is today and tomorrow. I was afraid Emma might be a little too enthusiastic but she had also had a long day, training and playing so she was pretty mellow.
Here's her before and after picture. She had to stay nice with a stranger as part if the test.

Good afternoon from the east coast!

Barbie & Beth, glad you were both able to sleep in. Beth, hope you're not too busy with Bike Week. BJ, I love the pictures of Emma! Congrats, Emma! Linda, hope the smoke isn't too bad where you are.

We are having a mini family reunion today, with what is left of our little family. Had lunch with sisters and their hubbies at a diner and 5:00, everyone will come here for a crab feast. Our parents would be thrilled that we're all staying in touch.

I have been outside doing a bit of yard work before it got too smoky. It is crazy here in the mornings. I can see the hills across from me and then by 10 or so the smoke moves in thicker...hmmm I dont like to be out in it any more than I have to. I then took the garbage and cardboard and recyclables over to the dumpster area. Went in the storage lot and started my genny ran it for only about 1/2 hour. All is well in the MH.

Emma is a real cutie for sure. She looks big LOL compared to my Emma ha ha She is a beautiful dog. Congrats on her award.

Beth it seems like the smart dogs are always the most stubborn Ha Ha so glad he is working out for you and fitting in to your schedule.

Time for some lunch and then not sure what might be on the agenda for this afternoon.

Yes, Ms Emma looked rather stunning yesterday evening! And well behaved, too! Which is the purpose of the. Annie Good Citizen evaluation. Today was not Josef’s day. He went Select behind another well bred male special who also then took Best of Breed Owner Handler. Tomorrow is another day and another judges opinion. That is why we call it a
dog show. :-). Of course this makes meeting up with BJ and Michael for dinner even easier. I might have time
for a nap, too!
