Question...

What is a virtual information session and how does it work? I am supposed to participate in one tomorrow and I have no clue what it is!!

is it for a survey type thing? that may not take in all but those sites where you give your opinion?
I would think that it would have something to do with that...virtual would be over internet via computer whether it is phone or lap top type access..
at least that is my guess

No, it is kind of a group interview/overview for a part time job I am trying for.

They may be going to give you more detailed information about the job you are applying for and company.

It is also possible that it is a sort of "pre-interview" where they ask you questions and get information from you so they can decide whether or not it is worthwhile to call you in for a job interview.

They gave me a phone number and a PIN number. Is it just on the phone or how does that work? I guess I am confused because it says "virtual" which to me means thru the internet. :?

I wonder if you are going to talk to a machine. You know, the machine asks questions, and your answers are recorded.

This probably saves them time screening applicants. Let us know how it goes.
