Recommend business software?

My husband and I have a small business with 1 other employee. For years I have used QuickBooks but the windows '98 computer has crashed so I need to purchase an updated version for the Windows 10 computer. QuickBooks is so expensive, plus I do not use all of the features. Do any of you have a recommendation for a different software? Used mostly for payroll and invoicing and must be able to tally MN sales tax. Thanks

I can't help you, but are there other small business people around you could ask? Maybe pop into a very small store nearby and ask them???
