Damp Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Damp Saturday

Morning all. Bit on the dam and humid side here this morning. We have had some rain showers and Ithink it might be showering right now, can't really tell. Was supposed to be in the upper 80's to low 90's today, but now they are saying around 80. Think it's because of cloud cover. No complaints by me.

Nothing much going on here today. Might install a curtain rod in my trailer along the bottom of my front window curtains or might not. Barbie, I know you are all waiting for pictures of the remodel. They are in on my IPad which I had to take back into repair shop as having problems with the home button. I don't know how to transfer pics from it to this site so am going to transfer them to my computer and then on here after I get it back. Hang in there.

Irmi, hope they get your plumbing issues taken care. How can they screw that up. People up here just have the lines drained, put pink stuff in toilets and off they go. They do leave heat on though, just turned down. Keeping the heat on is good for the house and does help in case of a hard freeze even with the water drained. Then all they need to do is just get the water turned on and all set. Not that there aren't problems probably here and there such as my one neighbor who had to get a new check valve on the pump this spring. Most people up here are on home water wells and some times the pumps get funny after sitting for x number of months unused. I always shut mine off when I leave to go away for a few days as you never know what might happen. HW tank could spring a leak or the bladder tank or the water softener and then water is flowing all over the basement. Better to flip the switch.

Well, guess I will go get cleaned up get dressed, no I am not sitting in the buff  and get into something constructive. Have a great day all.

Cloudy here this morning. Only a high of 73 today so a good day to be outside. May go for a hike somewhere later on.

Sue, no problem on the photos. I also have a bunch of photos on my phone and have no idea how to transfer them even to my computer! Need to figure that out soon tho since I have way too many pics on my phone now taking up space.

Hope you all have a good day!

Barbie Check out Dropbox for storing your photos. When I take a picture of anything on my phone I have it set up to automatically upload to dropbox on my pc, laptops also. If I have installed dropbox on them. If I am on someone elses computer I just go to dropbox.com and can find them. I move the special pics to a file on my computer so I can download them to a USB or a DVD. Once I see everything is transferred then I can delete some of the pics on my phone.

Thanks Karen, I will check that out. Is it an app on my phone?

I was expecting rain tomorrow. Drove to Rapid today to run errands for me and the store and enjoy lunch with a friend. Last errand before heading back and I look outside the sky is black, lightening and thunder, rain pouring. I got soaked getting back to the rv where we rocked and rolled. Looked at radar and this was only a pinpoint going through. I was inside that point lol

I'm now at an rv park in Chadron, NE for the night. Intended to boondock but it's not supposed to even get down to 85 until after midnight! So I elected to have a.c.. Back to Keystone tomorrow when I expect to either travel in some rain or meet it later in the day.
