Late Sunday morn

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Late Sunday morn

Elusive sleep.. It's becoming the norm and I don't like it! However, after being wide awake after only 4 hours, an hour later I was able to go back to bed and get about 3 more hours. That said, where are the rest of you? I hope enjoying this day where ever you are.

I am moving crap, 4 cabinets and most of the closet moved. I go out for a little while and have to come sit in front of a fan.

I usually wake up about 4 or 5 in the morning to use the bathroom and sometimes I can't go back to sleep. That is so aggravating because I usually don't go to sleep until after midnight.

It has looked like it was going to rain all day and hasn't yet.

Pretty clear blue sky with temp headed to 100. Mel is more or less stable though has much pain. I'm hanging in caring for him, trying to get other stuff done. Latest has been trying to get his truck running. Found a neighborhood guy (who happens to also have cancer but is in better health) who s helping. Seems next project is emptying gas tank and dropping it to replace fuel pump.. A bit scary but this guy is a certified mechanic and works on his own vehicles. When I asked him to keep track of his hours, he glanced at me and said, don't worry about that! You can bet I will pay him but wow a cancer patient helping another cancer patient! Anyhow, stay cool or warm as your location dictates, stay out of smoke or storm for same reasons. Stay safe.

It was so hot and sticky in my bedroom last night, so I went out on the porch to sleep on the futon where it was considerably cooler. However, the futon was extremely hard and uncomfortable so I had a hard time getting to sleep. I will probably have to sleep there again tonight but I found some memory foam pads to put on top that will make it more comfy.

Another hot day today. Was supposed to cool down today but still in the mid 90's right now. Went out and got my car washed earlier. I have free coupons (well I bought a card full of coupons several months ago) for a hand wash. They do a really thorough job inside and out. I gave the guy a good tip since it is so hot out today and he did a great job. Jeep looks brand new!

My palm plant (not sure what kind it is) is blooming. That white flower is about 2 feet tall!

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

That plant in your pictures is a yucca Barbie. It sure is pretty. Lola is beautiful and looks comfortable cooling off in the hot weather. Cute bunny too. You have quite a menagerie.
