Happy Fourth of July

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Happy Fourth of July

No celebrating here, just a quiet day at home. Too hot for outdoor activities. Looking forward to a little cooler temperatures this weekend. Stay cool, hydrated and safe travels.

Hi Shirl and all that follow~~~
Pretty much the same here in Illinois. To hot & humid to do anything. No plans here except trying to stay cool.

Have a happy & safe 4th ladies.

After rains and thunderstorms last night that thwarted the pre fireworks around the area (luckily none allowed around me) the 4th itself should make a lot of people happy. And we'll only have mid-70's for a high. The store will be hopping, so that's where I'll be most of the day and probably some of the evening.

Happy 4th everyone! (And very good to see you, Shirl!)

Hi Shirl, Cheryl, Beth and everyone!

A quiet day here also. We don't live close enough to any towns for us to hear the fireworks, which is just fine with me. We're also in the 90's and it's quite humid. Steve is cutting grass and I'm still trying to get things done in the house and yard after returning from the winter trip. By the time we get caught up, it'll be time to leave again. Happy 4th everyone!

Re-reading the Declaration of Independence this morning. It seems like the right day for it. :D

Continued hot and humid here in Virginia. Getting all the chores done in prep for moving tomorrow and a week at Assateague Island with no hookups! Refused to pay $300 to have spark plug changed in the generator - it's invisible in a tiny hole so can't do it myself. Bought a Honda 2200 to pack around.

Shirl, always good to see you post on here! I can't see a wine joke without thinking of you! :)

Happy 4th of July!

Anita, if you're going to cross the Bay Bridge in Annapolis to go to Assateague, you'll be about 1/2 mile from our house. If you're going across the Bay Bridge Tunnel, that's a whole other story.

I’m at the beach in Florida for the month, we’re going to a cookout later and will watch the fireworks from our friends upper deck.

Irmi, I will be taking the tunnel bridge to get to Assateague and the Bay Bridge when I head to Washington State. I'll wave! :)

Happy Fourth to All!!! nice weather here today, however, heat expected to hit later today and this weekend!!!

On the 1st, I remembered to say RABBITS, the first time in a long time.

Val and I have our RED WHITE AND BLUE shirts on and are going to a bar-be-que today.

Good for you Louise!!! Wish more people were familiar with it and the Constitution.

Taking it easy today. Have a community BBQ to go to this afternoon. Then maybe head up the hill to a small park to see if I can see the fireworks going off in Vista tonight. I was able to see the Oceanside fireworks from there last night (got there right after work just in time to see the grand finale).

A little cooler up this way from San Diego today, only low 70's. Warming up to the upper 80's by the weekend here. Much hotter inland tho.

Now that I bought a new drill, I should put up the blinds in the living room and dining room windows to help keep it cooler now that the temps are heating up for the summer.

Have a great 4th of July!

I did remember "rabbits" but got side tracked and forgot to check in here.
Nothing new to report. Heat and humidity mostly keeping me inside with A/C
Hope all are enjoying the 4th holiday; mine is a quite one so far.
Just noticed at least some of my older photos from Photobucket are show. I haven't changed anything. Don't know how it happened but glad to see them back on here after a long absence imposed by Photobucket.

Hi everybody... happy Fourth of July we celebrated here at Crystal River Village
 riding in the golf cart parade with our neighbor and friend Trudy... Then we went to the clubhouse where the HOA sponsored a picnic..they provided all the food for a picnic... we had a pretty good day

Sarah I also noticed that my little thumbnail picture is back and I did nothing in fact I went to Photobucket and try to unjoin it but I couldn't...

Pretty hot in Florida of course what do you expect I've been utilizing the pool as much as I can but when you have thunderstorms every day it's a little hard to do...

I'm not going north this year because I have to save for a new roof but I have to put on in the next couple of years I did get the leak fixed finally that had nothing to do with needing a new roof it was just sloppy non quality workmanship when building the house very upsetting and disgusting ... poor workmanship running rampid .... I will leave this subject just stirs me up...

I've decided I won't do no more camping in Florida this summer it's just way too hot... But from what I'm reading it seems to be hot all over... well that's all for me for now

Hot and crowded in Hood Park in Washington, but they had electric hookups--at least until a few minutes ago. So, no AC. Someone said a breaker went off. Anyway, going to go out for a walk and take a few photos for my blog. Mostly got caught up, but still need to post a few from yesterday at Chief Joseph Campground in western Washington.

Everyone still seems to be chugging along. Wish I could see the photos Liz posted, but hope she will post some here also.
