It’s Friday again

Morning all. Back to another Friday again. Weeks are moving right along. Was thinking yesterday about how we just had Memorial Day weekend and now we are two weeks away from the 4th of July

Seems like everybody’s busy. Soos was going to have a busy day yesterday for sure. Glad some of you are finally getting a break in the rains. We need some here as the ground is so dry. It either goes north or south of us. Barbie, I have a cabinet in my basement with a funny smell too. Planning to just take it apart and toss it. Just storing craft stuff, so will put it elsewhere. Tried painting it but didn’t help, so out it goes.

My day, or at least part of it, is going to be working on my trailer. Want to put out the slide and give the inside flooring a good cleaning, run a dust cloth over the place, put out the awning and see if it needs cleaning, put down the jacks, give them a good. Leaning and a bit of lube. Just a general overall maintenance. Give the whole thing a bath. It’s been cool here, mornings in 40’s and yesterday I think we hit 70 for a high, so will let it warm up a bit out there. Have couple errands to run and hopefully get my hair cut, so will do that this morning.

Im still waking up, need another cup of coffee.
Think little foster Abby is 100% now on her tummy issues. She slept all night and
didnt have the need to soil the poddy pad,,,,and waited patiently while i slipped on my
shoes and grab her leash.
Another hot day in store, but i dont expect anything else, it is, after all, Arizona!
Will get the vacuam out today and do a few chores before the ac kicks on, packed
up some stuff to go to storage, moved some other stuff and freed up the space at the
foot of my bed. Will put the carpet protector down and then the steps to help Abby get
on the bed. She tries to jump but has only made it a couple times.I will also have a spot
for the poddy pad to be out of the way.
Time to get dressed and get busy., ya'll have a great day, be safe.

Very old friends were in town yesterday. We went to Altu's and had Ethopian food for lunch. Then we went over to the historical village and hung out with the geese. Then we went to a new coffee shop for dessert. A lovely day!

Today, alas, I get to repair a leaky pipe . . .

Gmorning all

Rain heading here this weekend, so have done all my yardwork the past two days. Martha, was wondering if all the TX rain would be heading your way. Glad midwesterners are getting some rain. BTW, we could use it here too, so hopefully we'll get enough to do some good.

Well summer arrived, yes? I tried to stay awake til sunset for the longest day-- but fell asleep. Will try for tonight--the days can't be getting that much shorter yet Like Sue said, time speeding by!

It looks like most of the rain went North of here. The radar would show it just West of here but it never made it. Lafayette got a good bit and it's only 30 miles North.

I haven't been to town for 2 days but need cat food. It looks like the universe has taken back one of the barn cats it gave me 4 years ago. She just showed up here as a kitten. She has been missing for a week. I'm just afraid she wandered too far out and something got her. She is chipped so hopefully if she gets picked up they will call me.

The 4th will be here soon. My sister and I like to go to the lake for the 4th to watch the fireworks. Since it's on a Wednesday the fireworks won't be nearly as much. Will have to see what the weather is going to be.

Good Morning all. Woke up late this morning 7:15. I am usually up around 6am but slept solid all night. I always sleep good in the Motorhome. Had a good drive up yesterday and managed to get set up just fine even with my tender elbow so it is all good. Cloudy this morning but no rain. Feels good. I have a spot right across from the dog parks (they have one long one divided in the middle into 2) and the river behind me with lush green grass and old established trees. Great RV park. Emma has been kept very busy on the dash watching all the dogs go by.

Might venture to the store this afternoon as I just need a couple of things until Laura gets here on Saturday and we do more serious shopping before heading over to the coast.
