Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday

Good Morning Everyone !! Just checking in, been awhile I think. Almost have all my boxes emptied and put away or in box for thrift store  really had no choice about working here as had to have RV towed off last week, same ole same ole, this exhaust crap system on it. I do believe I've replaced absolutely every part of system. So being stranded might as well accomplish something right? :D It's setting back in driveway, so I'm happy camper again!!

I've been lurking somewhat. Have to see about another plan for phone service or service in house or something as I went way over last month.

No more news from here, hoping for trip west but hoping DD can get time to go with me, so just biding my time till first part of July. I keep busy, and have nice supply of videos or books from library for idle times and evening hours. So I'm really quite content :D

Someone else probably already checked in, brain couldn't think of topic other then day, so maybe they selected better, let's hope! Have a great day, Stay Safe !,

Well! Drew is out of the cone and not fussing at his (still healing) paw! :D No jumping for a while yet, but I think we may be out of the woods.

Also, the new hot water heater is ordered and will be installed on Mon.

I do believe things are looking up!

Just into afternoon here! I see I missed a bunch of birthdays so a happy belated birthday to you all! I can’t believe how fast June is going. Just had my RV guy out yesterday to fix the generator and check a couple of other things. So, Lola is ready to go if and when I can head out. Right now I’m working on trying to figure a way to help my old guy to be able to get in and out of the RV. His hind end is weakening but bless his heart he tried so hard the other night to go up the steps and just couldn’t. The will is there but not his body. Jim and I measured and brainstormed yesterday and found a ramp we think will work. Ordered it last night and it should be here on Friday. Doodles sees me loading things in and I think he worries I’m going to leave without him. I just hope, with some coaxing he’ll take to it. So other then that, not much else exciting happening here. Just trying to keep up with house and yard work. Depends on the weather as to what I do from one day to the next! Meanwhile, just enjoying reading about everyone else’s adventures. Have a great day and be safe.

I could probably get a lot done if I didn't have internet. I have a bag of clothes that need to go to town before they find a way to get back in the closet.

I drove the truck down to the public boat launch and back so got one thing done. Someone built another camp since I was down there. They put a small mobil home up on piers and it has to be 15 feet off the ground. I would have liked to see that operation. I get tired just thinking about climbing that many steps.

I can't think of any reason that I need to go to town but the day isn't over.

Brought the Motorhome over to the house this morning while it is stil cool. Starting to load things except for the fridge that will be tomorrow morning. I figure I will wash everything inside down when I get to the RV park where I have AC and lots of power. I ran the generator and cooled the MH down before I brought it to the house but it heats up fast. So now I am inside going to freeze some spaghetti sauce and few leftover ribs.

Will head to Walmart later as I still need a few things. I have half a tank of gas so that should get me over the 4 passes I have to do and is just 80 miles LOL Gas prices havent gone down this week, darnit. Gas is $2.99 at 7Feathers Casino with .03 off so $2.96 so will just fill up there before I continue on to the RV park. I would rather not go over the passes with a full tank, less weight. The SUV needs gas too so better dust off my Visa Platinum ha ha

Looking forward to meeting up with my Forum Sistahs for a few days of fun at the coast. Will be heading over to the coast on Monday for our meetup.

Atlantis water park day in the Bahamas on Monday, a lazy day at sea, and another lazy day in Cozumel, MX today where I have Verizon service as part of my plan. I'm getting pretty good at doing lazy days. Tomorrow will. E the busiest day in Honduras. Scheduled for a multi-activity excursion that includes zip-line, snorkeling, horseback riding and kayaking I think. Hope I survive all that. Happy birthday to all those who had one that I missed. My dd will celebrate hers here on the ship tomorrow.

Liz, if you can get all that done in one day you will have done something. You are the only one I know that could get it done.

After my second cruise I decided I'm not a cruise person. The days at sea were kind of boring to me. All we did was wander around and eat. I have never eaten so much ice cream. Every time we passed the machine we would get a cone.

I agree Martha. I have now been on 2 cruises and have decided it is just not for me. I can spend the same amt of money on a weeks vacation where I have control. I found not enough time in ports to see the city and do an excursion if desired. I was bored at sea too.

I liked cruises when I used to do them. But I quit signing up for excursions and did my own. Learned that from cruise ship employees and worked great for me. And I was never able to be bored on ship. That said, since rving, I'm happy as can be on land.

Finally got my taxes done. Not as much back as I was hoping or expecting.

Also got the other countertop painted (second coat). Will check in the morning to see if it needs another coat. Was hoping I could get started on the master bedroom today but that didn't happen. Back to work tomorrow but I can start taping in there and at least get it ready for painting.

I saw a car at Home Depot today that someone had covered almost completely in those little round glass stones you get from the craft stores. It was completely covered everywhere except for the two front side windows and the windshield! It was crazy looking! Looked like there were more of them glued to the dashboard and other places inside. I will try to get my pics of it on here.
(the sign on the window asks not to take photos of the inside or of the owner).

Cruising has never been on the top of my list. That said (forgive lack of commas key no longer working) my BFF since 6th grade and I just made reservations for a cruise from Barcelona to Venice in October 2019! She had a spot on a religious tour of Rome and surrounding area then suddenly brought up the cruise idea. We would be going in May but her granddaughter announced she 'might' be getting married then.

What a day Liz is having today!! :)

Turned out to be just 3 awesome activities....zip line, horseback riding, and snorkeling. Best part of the cruise. Martha, I am not a cruise fan either. Days at sea very boring and can be fattening, lol. This was a family outing that I felt I couldn't turn down. Can't wait to get home now and the main event next week.
