Time for Coffee Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Time for Coffee Tuesday

Postby Colliemom » Tue Jun 19, 2018 8:35 am

Morning. Time for that cup of morning coffee to start your day. Been up for awhile here, Protein Shake in tummy and contemplating my day. Cloudy and cool one too. So will head up to town, pick up few things at store and check out stick on and under cabinet lights for my trailer. Want to put a stick on light or two, in my pass through storage area and undercabinet reading light by my bed.

Other than that, not much else doing. How about you. What kind of day are you hoping to have? However it goes, have a nice one :)

Mornin' Sue and all that follow~~~
Happy belated birthday Sue, Linda & Judy. Sorry I missed them, but you know how it is with cell service when traveling.

Back at Camp Orland Park (Dads driveway) for a while. Spent the night at Moms tho because power was out at dads because of a tree limb taking down wires & at 94°, Punk & I wanted AC. Lots on the schedule while I'm here starting with a new dentist today since my dentist of 35+ years retired. The nerve of him lol.

That's it from me. Have a good day ladies & stay safe wherever you are.

Gmorning Sue, Cheryl & all to follow :)

What a difference--Cheryl needing ac, Sue cool as a cucumber! Happy to report that our heat advisory lasted less than 24 hrs, & we're also back to cool & no humidity. Even needed a sweatshirt when walking dogs this a.m....Judy, missed your bday ysterday, hope towing & repairs went smoothly so you could have a good one!

Moving slow this a.m., not much to be "hurried up" about. Just had a thought that HarBor needs a good exterior wash so may put that on my schedule. Would love to be on the road with him, but not going to happen for a while. I envy those of you on the road! Sandi, you're taking quite a trip, right? Beth back, Cheryl parked at "home base" for a bit, Sue's trip postponed, Martha possibly but needing some rv repairs, Judy definitely needing repairs? Who else, where else? Would love to hear where everyone is traveling now.

In the meantime, y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

I dropped the RV of at the shop this morning. The check engine light had come on two weeks ago just as I was heading out of town to a dog show. I ran it over to the shop and they had the computer check the code. It was saying a misfire so they were not worries about it being driven. Two weeks and two dog show weekends later I brought took it in for the appointment to have it checked out. Now just thrumming fingers on the desk top waiting to hear what is going on and what it might cost. I do trust this place not to nickel and dime me for unnecessary stuff. Need to have the little Honda Fit washed. Apparently it didn't wash itself all winter. I am at least happy to know that what I originally thought might be rust coming through on the edges of the roof is only grime. Lark needs her annual check up scheduled and I need to find a quality chiropractor to help with my hip and leg discomfort. Entering a few Josef shows and I am off to run some errands.

I am waiting for the vet to call so I can go pick up Hank. They wanted a clean urine sample and he wasn't cooperating so he had to spend the night.

A check engine light came on in the truck and found out that it was because we had let the battery go dead. Speaking of which, I probably need to drive it. I can't go get Hank in it because he can't jump that high any more. It's all I can do to get in it. Harold always put running boards on the trucks except the last one when we really need them.

The tire on the motorhome that I had looked at is leaking air again. I need to mix up some soapy water to see if I can see where it's leaking. The big air compressor is acting weird so guess that will be the next thing to go out.

It's overcast today and only 85. Texas is getting flooding rain again but I don't see any on the radar near me.

Good morning :D
My little foster girl Abby is at the vet today, getting her well check, a chip and a prescription for her
yeasty ear. They had me drop her off and ill pick up later, poor little girl tried to follow me out the
door. Shes getting quite attached to me. Switched her diet from what they had her on as i think it was causing her diarrhea and put her on Freshpet and added the pumpkin. Two days and her business isnt water anymore. Ya for that!! Couple more days and should be solid!!
Little bit nice out today for now. Will be hot later but right now i'll go out and rake the yard again.
Slowly packing the car with stuff to put in storage, maybe tomorrow i can make that trip and have more floor space in the bedroom to put a step at the end of the bed for Abby. She jumps down in the night to use her poddy pad and has a hard time jumping back up. She has done it a few times but its a struggle.
Ya'll have a great day, be safe.

I had a good night near Reno last night and am headed east on I-80 to Elko for tonight. So far everything seems to be working well, but blowouts are scary and for a while after one, you imagine every rough road is a tire ready to blow.

So, right now I am waiting in line a Blue Beacon to get this thing washed. Was not able to wash it in Napa, and it spent 6 weeks in a dusty storage lot, so it is really dirty.

And, Tina, I had not read the word "thrumming" for a long time! Nicely descriptive word.

Judy, wish I realized you were passing within a mile of my house! I'm just off 80 in Roseville! Next time let me know and maybe we can share a meal.
It's quiet here. Mel is sore from his fall but ok. I pulled my back sometime in past few days as its wanting to spasm, so I'm resting until my chiropractor sees me tomorrow. Of course, rest is a relative term with caregiving, but I'm not going out on errands and doing an easy supper from precooked burger meat. In 90's today and low humidity with slight breeze. Headed to around 104 by Saturday ! Summer is here!
Friday we go to VA to have measuring for wheelchair. Hope that doesn't mean more waiting for ordering.
Have a good rest of your day one and all.

Spent an hour or so putting together a microwave cart earlier today. The instructions were kind of humorous. At the beginning of the booklet, they said "some assembly (and snacks) required", and at the end it said "time to celebrate! Take a nap!" Love those kind of instructions! It looks nice and gets my microwave off the counter and gives me a little more storage.

Then I prepped and painted the other orange countertop in the kitchen. Ran out of paint after the first coat so will need to get more paint tomorrow since I will have to do two more coats to cover the orange. Then I should be done with the kitchen! Hoping to start painting the master bedroom tomorrow too.

Tonight I went to a meet-up at a Hypnotherapy school that had an open house with a speaker on butterflies. (yeah, I don't know what those two have in common other than maybe a symbol of a metamorphosis). Anyways, it was a good way to meet other hypnotherapists to ask questions and get ideas and network. Met some fun people there. Turns out the head instructor there actually had my instructor as a student many years ago. The butterfly talk was very interesting too. Will go to more of their meet-up activities/talks.

I think I have made significant progress on the flea situation. Yay! Will keep up with treatments and preventative measures inside and out.

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
