It's Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Sunday

Nothing new here... Don't want to depress anyone but wanted to say Hi! and WAKE UP!

I haven't gotten computer work done for one of the parks I still maintain their website. I must get to that today whether I want to or not.

I have been busy this morning too. Updating all my dang computers LOL It all went smooth so while they were updating I vacuumed, cleaned up the junk on the tables and dusted. Threw dishes in the dishwasher as I have to use it once a month just to keep stuff lubed so I am told. So today was the day. Just got this burst of energy this morning. BUT alas it is over now ha ha

Good afternoon. My computer did an update this morning that took F.O.R.E.V.E.R.! So no morning post. But I did get the inside of my car dusted and vacuumed before it got too hot and a batch of peanut butter cookie dough mixed up in the meantime. Will have to bake those later this afternoon. I worked Friday afternoon, very few customers in the summer because people boating or doing patio parties so there is a lot of off-sale. I did a lot of cleaning. Last night Missy and I went to Life of the Party. Funny movie. Next weekend The Book Club is showing so we plan to go to that. Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment in Yankton and then I’m going to meet Irishroamed for a late lunch. She’s going to be at the federal campground. Seems that we’ve been having storms just about every other day! I’ve been keeping my bra on…just in case the house gets hit by lightning.

So have a good day everyone!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

It's late Sunday afternoon now and I have accomplished little or nothing. I am about to take a walk with the dogs-----maybe go down to the pond.

Went to church, out to lunch, got out suitcase so I could start packing for cruise with dd's next week (16th-25th), took a nap. Back to church in an hour. Nice quiet, rainy day. Here's a picture of me and Bob at a Mexican restaurant Friday night. 20 days until wedding.

Hi Bob! Good looking couple. Bob looks very familiar. Don’t know why.

Ah, Liz, such a busy person. Have a great time on your cruise with your daughters. And I look forward to pictures of your wedding after. Love the pic of the two of you.

Pat, I hope one day soon you can keep your bra off. :D

I agree that you two make a good-looking couple, and best of happiness to your both! So nice you found someone late in life.

I left London at 11:30 am this morning, which was really 3:30 am California time, and that does not count how early I got up to get to the airport, so I am more than a little wacky right now. My son picked me up at the airport, which really helped. Also, i had RV storage, and they locked gates at 7:00 pm, so he went over there and picked it to and drove it to Napa EXPO campground and got it set up for me. More tomorrow when I can think and spell.

Oh, and I have a really big problem right now. I have lost 20 pounds over the past three months, so very few of my clothes fit me. Tops are OK, but had big problems in U.K. trying to keep my pants and shorts from falling down. :o Seriously. I even went so far as to cut the waistbands and roughly made them a couple of inches smaller. So, I tossed out all pants and shorts other than the ones I wore home. Got to sort through closet and do at least a little shopping. I've been "grazing" instead of big meals for one thing, and when in UK walked at least 2-3 miles per day. Wiped me out, but lost weight.

Getting in just before midnight here.

Today I finally got ahold of my dad's God-daughter who moved from Phoenix back to MN. We met at my dad's church so she could see where his ashes are and then we went for lunch and had a nice visit. I always say she is the perfect daughter my dad never had. They were very close. My dad dated her mom a long time ago and he got her and her sister baptized at his church.

Then I stopped to visit with another friend for awhile before heading to my brother's house for a cook-out with the family. That turned out nice too. My brother and his wife got a new POD travel trailer. It is very cute!

Will be up and leaving for the airport very early in the morning to head back home. I miss my kitties!

So Liz, are you getting married on the cruise or after you get back? Who's house are you going to live in? (sorry for being nosy!)
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Cruise was planned a year ago with family. Bob is not going. The wedding is Saturday, the 30th, after I get back.
