Home again

Back home after trip to Utah. I did not have any trouble on I70 out of Denver or the MT's. in Utah. We had a great time, and saw a lot of wonderful scenery. Lots of rocks!! It was very dry at Arches, Canyonlands and the 4 corners area. We camped on BLM land at Arches, with a lot of other people! At Bryce we were at a Nat. forest campground that had not opened yet, so we got by on the cheap this trip. We were by a reservoir at Bryce, it was so nice to sit at the waters edge and enjoy the peace and quiet. The only park we did not spend as much time as we had wanted to was Zion, the crowds were unbelievable for the time of the year. The Ranger also said that the crowds were much more than expected. But again the scenery was spectacular. We went on some great hikes and met some nice people along the way. We ended our trip in Salt Lake City, then my friend headed home and I headed towards NE. I spent several days in Broken Bow visiting cousins I had not seen in probably 20 years or more. We had a good time. It was hard to head for home, I could have spent another couple weeks traveling around the Midwest. But unfortunately there were things I had to deal with at home. But am planning my next trip around WI, MI and MN.

That is a trip I want to take someday!

Let me know if you need any ideas around MN to visit.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
