Loving your blog, Judy!!
I was in London many, many years ago and barely remember my adventures there, it was so long ago (40+ years). Such fun to travel along with you! Thank you for taking the time to write such wonderful descriptions, and to post such illustrative photos. I'm
LOVING it!!!
You have a LOT more energy than I do, lady!!!
If you have time to see some of the shows there, I would
highly recommend "The Phantom of the Opera". It is quite wonderful, and at times amazing (I have seen the stage show here in the States more than once). The music, singing, staging, costumes, special effects - ALL fabulous. And, if you don't think you like "opera", think again. Lloyd Weber himself has stated, "it is actually a rock show just masquarading as an opera". VERY apt description, indeed!
A word of warning, though: If you see it, be advised that you will likely have great difficulty getting the music to stop playing in your head in a kind of endless loop.
The show (at least of those that I have seen) really is
that good.
Looking forward to your next post!
Thank you.
Anne
