Pics of my yard...

Took some pics on my back yard...

My meditation area where I can listen to the babbling creek below...
Image

I want to decorate this area with flowers later and clear out some of the brush and vines so I can see the creek better.
Image

a pretty flowering tree in back...
Image

an abandoned orange grove behind my house...
Image

the back corner patio. The previous owner left me the table, chairs and umbrella.
Image

my back patio where I can sunbathe in total privacy! ;) Have some plans for this area later, maybe a water feature, lattice along the wall, pull up the pavers along the wall to plant some flowers or vines, and then maybe a swing or glider back there...
Image

this weedy mess will be my fruit and veggie garden. I plan to extend the raised garden to the fence and plant veggies in there. Then plant raspberries, strawberries and maybe something else on the lower areas.
Image

the side yard along the creek. I want to widen the planting area from the wall and put in a mini Japanese garden along there with some type of bamboo to cover up the front of the wall. The pavers I remove from the back patio, I will use to make a walkway along here to the back.
Image

view of my outside porch...
Image

view from my outside porch. The creek is just below the concrete wall.
Image

the front of my house without the ugly awnings...
Image

these areas in front will be replanted. Will be moving the two rose bushes elsewhere, maybe by the mailbox.
Image

this area along the driveway will get cleaned up and planted with maybe small palms and succulants. The rock area belongs to my only neighbor who I never see.
Image

this is in front of my house next to the creek...pretty ground cover that is blooming with pink and yellow flowers now.

Love it Barbie. It’s beautiful. I also love the catio. Looks like Lola approves. How about Emily?

Emily hasn't been out there yet. She is a little scared of it but i am sure once she gets used to it, will love it. I will probably have to get in there with her until she feels comfortable. That's what I had to do with Lola.

You know, you might want to think about hiring someone to come and clean the yard out, giving you a blank slate to work with. MUCH easier to get motivated to do something when you get to start out fresh. I bet there's someone who does that kind of thing in your park ...

Your yard looks huge - lots to keep you busy with your good ideas. Love the back patio area. Can't wait to see pictures as you finish each area.

Barb, your place look FABULOUS!!

I can clearly see why you fell in love with it.

A word of advice: take care when pulling up pavers. They may be there for a reason - and maybe not just to cover bare dirt.

Looking forward to pics as your work progresses!!

Green leaves on trees, green grass! What is that? I'd even be happy to see the green weeds right now! It looks very nice Barbie! I'm just "green" with envy of your green. Winter in April is starting to wear very thin on me.
