Only 2 days left, so excited to get going :D

Good morning ladies! I plan on leaving for Moab on Friday. My kids came into town last night on their way from south Florida back to Georgia, they leave tomorrow so I'll do laundry, pick the dog up from day camp and finish packing the rig for getting on the road. I can't decide if I should take my recycling in on Friday morning before I go or just ask a neighbor to do it for me since there's very little. It can only be dropped off on Fridays or Saturdays here. I know they'll gladly do it for me but I hate to ask. I think I have my 1st leg pretty well mapped out, the rest of my adventure, after Moab, is not so well decided as all the things I want to do and see are in opposite directions. I think I'll be on the road about 3 months but I have no timetable really...I just want to be away during yellow fly season! Enjoy a great day, the weather here in the armpit of Florida has been glorious!

It's sunny and cold this morning. We had a high yesterday of 73!! The day before had been an unpleasant cold gray day so no surprise when storms hit late in the afternoon so now we are back to cold but at least the sun is shining.Emma is off to the groomer this morning so will be quiet. Speaking of which it is too quiet better go see what she is into!

Winter Storm Wilbur is still moving through. Got about 5-6 inches of very heavy snow. Winds are supposed to ramp up. Schools all over northern Michigan are closed. So good day to just stay in and work on wood craft projects. So, O’Sharon, it’s your turn next. Pat passed it over to us, so I will give it to you

Toni, hope you have a wonderful trip and you keep us posted along the way! And Sue, thanks for passing the storm my way. You shouldn’t have! Was in the 50’s earlier but now in the 40’s with rain. Supposed to get down in the 30’s with snow this afternoon. So another day to just stay inside. Lights flickered a bit ago so that’s another concern! I have flashlights all over the house so guess I’m about as ready for a power outage as I can be. It’s been a long time since we’ve had one. Barbie, hope you’re doing better today. Have you thought of trying to work with a physical therapist? They’ve been a great asset for me. Martha, hope your rose bushes made it! I starting to see flowers at Lowe’s and sure hope they can survive this crazy weather. Fun to see when I stop but way to soon to think about planting! I got some new knobs for my bathroom yesterday. Haven’t been happy with what I had gotten a while back so it was time. Wasn’t my plan yesterday but when I walked by and saw them I really liked them so went ahead and got them! So better get to it and get them on! My project for today! Have a wonderful day and travel safe.

Tonic, have a wonderful trip. You are bound to meet interesting people, have exciting moments and lots of stories to tell. I think I was in the armpit of Florida, if you are talking about Chiefland, Inverness etc. I really enjoyed the time I spent there. Peggy

It was sunny here in Napa yesterday, but getting cloudy and cool and going to have a couple of days of rain, which is always cause for celebration in California! My son passed on my mail to me yesterday, so I sorted through it last night and started dealing with it. Have to renew my Ohio drivers license by mail, and you would think you are applying for citizenship and a degree to boot. Have to go to ophthalmologist and have them fill out a form from my last exam that shows I can see! Have several documents I have to copy and send.

Peggy, I am in Ocholocknee Bay which is too small to have a post office. I'm closest to Panacea and South of Tallahassee. Just on the border between Wakulla and Franklin Counties. Thanks for all the good wishes ladies. I wish you all better weather, reading about what is going on out there is making me very conscience of checking out the working order of my weather radio! I did just put a new battery in it

I had fun on the back roads today. All my future driving/stops will be determined by the winds. I've had an on again/off again chance to visit with some cousins... Right now it's off again. It's only a small window where they and I could both be available, and right now, I'll have to go past before they could meet. We've been able to gtg once when I've headed north and once headed south. Luckily we take what works with mother nature!

I'm at a casino with hookups tonight ($10). Last night I stayed in a wonderful NFS campground (boondocking) but no cell service there. Not surprising in that area.

I am feeling much better today! The massage therapist did a lot of stretching of my neck and shoulders yesterday so that must have loosened me up good. My cough has come back tho. So annoying!

I got my new mattress delivered this morning and have that on my bed now. I think that will make a big difference from the airbed I had. Can't wait to try it out tonight!

Lots of little projects to get caught up with tomorrow before going to work in the late afternoon. I have Friday off and will spend the day getting all my tax stuff together and bring it in to H&R Block. Need to call the AZ Great Clips again tomorrow and see if I can get a direct phone number for the owners this time so I can deal with them directly.
