The afghan I made for the benefit silent auction for the premature baby. Used up odds and ends of Lion Brand Homespun yarn that I had laying around. First attempt at the diagonal afghan. Kind of reminds me of Dolly Parton's coat of many colors! Just hope that someone bids on it!

Valances for the kitchen and laundry room. He couldn't find any that he didn't think looked "girly" so we found fabric and made them.

Then he decided to remodel his bathroom. He took an old dresser that I had spent HOURS refinishing and painted it (dirty word to me) and turned it into a vanity. He has a thing about copper so you see lots of it! The ceiling is copper I can't think of the name of the stuff but it used to be on ceilings in many old building. Again he couldn't find shower curtains that he liked so they are made out of suede cloth that I found online, it's embossed to looked like tooled leather.

I'm not ready to post a picture of my paint by number! It's still a work in progress and probably will be for quite awhile.

Pat, you do good work. I was at a friends house last week and they also had an old dresser/bureau as the vanity in one of their bathrooms, so yours is only the second one I've seen. What a neat idea!

Nice work, just sorry that you had to be put on house confinement in order to get it all done. Now you can get your strength back in time for the spring yard and garden work, right?

Nice work! I also love copper but haven't figured out yet how to incorporate that into my house.
