Happy Afternoon, Hope everyone is having a good day in spite of the weather. More rain here after a day of bright sun it seemed extra bright as it had been a week since it had been out. Hurt my eyes!:)
Pat so glad you are better and that you continue to heal !! The painting is pretty. If you have a stubby brush you could dampen it and smudge out some of the paint Practice on a piece of paper before to see how it works. it will look like a Monet. :)
Wow Judy what an ordeal sounds as though there is nothing more you can do unless you get some type of legal authority. I find it odd how so many rich people are extreme hoarders.
Feel better Barbie! Beth I love those little tables, great find.
Off to the shower, we're going out for dinner if we don't have the freezing rain they predicted.....

HAPPY EASTER ALL
I have been enjoying this fabulous weather. Was outside the last couple of days doing some weeding and some spraying. Bought some fertilizer but will wait a bit to use it. It is so hard not to get motivated when the weather is so good.

Going to go over tomorrow and start the Motorhome and bring it over to the house so I can make sure the batteries get charged up as I can plug it in here, no electric in the storage yard. Also like to make sure I have water in the toilet, it seems to evaporate pretty fast even with the saran wrap over it.

Glad to hear Pat is on the mend and sorry to hear Barbie cant get rid of her neck pain. That is a bummer. Maybe a heating pad might help.

Of course I dont need to even mention that I forgot to say RABBITS this morning...sheesh

Happy Easter!!!
I forgot rabbits, :-(
Pat and Barbi, glad your on the mend
Not doing the easter egg thing this year, disappointed that the other part of the family has turned it into halloween with seeing how much candy they can haul in. I prefer to reflect on the meaning of this day.
Weather is nice so far but i do expect it will be warm.
Yall have a great day and be safe.

Rabbits check in.
After 2 months traveling in FL, I made it home last night. Nicky delighted to finally get off leash and run in back yard.
Pat, Barbie - hope both better soon.
My allergies have jumped into high gear - everything here covered in thick coat of pollen.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!

Drove 320 miles today, but made it closer to Napa. Am hoping I hear tomorrow morning if they have a spot for me. Relaxing and watching Jesus Christ Superstar musical. I have seen it twice before, once about 30 years ago and another time about 15 years ago, but this is a very different production. Music is still good. Last time I saw it live in a theater, my friend and I ended up with front row, center aisle tickets in the Detroit Fox Theater--a huge place, but they had enormous speakers on stage and when we left, we could not hear a thing for an hour or so until our old ears adjusted!

Picked up a load of baked goodies at the bakery in Tehachapi, including a German baked sandwich of some sort, so time to heat it up and eat. Froze most of stuff.

By the way, regarding my aunt and uncle, I am reminded of the old "Penny wise, pound foolish" saying. They drive a new Mercedes SUV and their previous car was a Lexus, but they save and reuse ziplock bags and old take-out food cartons!! Plus will not bring in help because they don't want to spend the money. Also, someone coming in might notice their Hummel figurines and steal them. (Old Hummels are not worth much, per eBay.) And considering they live in a mountain gated community, someone would have to hike up the mountain to break in. They also swipe handfuls of the shopping cart wipes and then use them to wipe down their groceries when they get home because there might be germs on the cans and boxes!! Talk about nuts.

Happy Easter everyone! I'm blessed with another day with my sweet husband, for that I'm grateful. Nothing big planned here today. The 3 of us worked together Friday so Chris and I can learn to operate Mel's fancy pellet smoker. We cooked boneless country pork ribs so have been enjoying those and will tonight. I managed to find some of the most beautiful California grown asparagus I've seen in a while and we have eaten some each night. I also made a delicious creamed spinach last night-love my Keto "diet" food!
Barbara glad you feel better. The day has gone by. I was interrupted , but suffice to say I think of you all daily both your joys and your struggles. Hope all had a good Easter. Quiet here but quiet can be good.
Velda
PS I did say Rabbits around midnight last night. I figure it was already April 1 for many so if I was a few minutes early here, I'm still good.
