Happy Easter!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Happy Easter!

Postby dpf » Sun Apr 01, 2018 12:27 am

Happy Easter! RABBITS! I’ve already said it! And I doubt I have to worry about anyone posting before me!

I hope April is a better month for me than March! Yes, I’ve been AWOL all month. I ended up in the hospital March 3-7 with a lung infection. My 02 was down to 77 when I went to the ER. When I was released the Dr. told me to lay low until flu season was over because I was going to be susceptible to anything. So I have spent pretty much the whole month at home except for quick trips to the grocery store and post office. Yes…I have cabin fever…BAD! But did I ever get things accomplished! Finally made Sean’s curtains for his kitchen and laundry room and a shower curtain. Did some mending that I had been putting off forever. Made an afghan for a silent auction at benefit for Ashley’s cousin who had a 1.5# baby prematurely the end of February. Good news today he’s up the 2.5#! And I’m almost half done with one of those paint by number pictures! I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I ordered that bugger! It’s 16X20 and some of the areas are teeny tiny! I think I have all of one color finished and then when I start on another I see a bunch of little spots that I missed. Or I find a little tiny spot and by the time I have more paint on the brush I can’t find it again. I don’t care how ugly it is when I’m finished….that sucker is going to be hung on a wall!

Wishing all of you a fun day. We’re going to Sean’s for dinner and an egg hunt for the grandkids. Don’t know where we’ll hide the eggs because it’s supposed to be cold tomorrow. It’s 18* out right now. Mother Nature and her darn April Fool's jokes. Last year we were sitting outside and everyone was sunburned!

Yikes, Pat! Here's wishing you a wonderful April.

I said rabbits right at midnight. Sure hope it works for me, also. I had lunch and spent the afternoon with a friend today. This evening I went to the clubhouse and stayed for the first set of a man doing a Josh Groban concert. That took priority over a few mundane tasks that had been on my list. Those got added to the ones for tomorrow.

This morning I stopped at the garage sale for the park. Any of us can donate items to it. All proceeds from it go into the fund for the music, etc. It's a win-win situation. Here's what I got:

Next time here (in the fall, most likely) I'll bring some polyurethane and give them a good coat.

Ok, I best get some sleep as tomorrow's to do list is quite long lol

Happy April!

I am still up too. I said "rabbits" but may have said something before then. We'll see how the month goes, if it worked or not!

Pat, glad to hear you are better now. That must have been scary. Being sick is never fun and a bit worrisome as we get older. I used to love doing paint by numbers! I am sure it will look great! I should buy one and try it again.

Cute tables Beth. We are having a carport sale in my community next month. Don't have much to sell right now but maybe I will find more stuff by then. Am also thinking of having an Open House that afternoon when the sale is over, for my friends and coworkers to stop by and see my place...which means I have a lot of work to do before then to get all my indoor projects done! We'll see...

I am feeling better now, less pain. Hoping it continues to feel better and maybe I can get out to the beach for awhile.

What are everyone else's Easter plans?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good morning Pat, Beth, Barbie & everyone!

Pat, so sorry you ended up in the hospital and glad to hear you're feeling better. Beth, I really like those tables. Barbie, I hope you continue to feel better.

Happy Easter!

Church is this morning and I'll be playing for the service. Easter always has such wonderful hymns.

We have shrimp marinating in the refrigerator and I'll make some German potato salad as a side.

Happy Easter! I remembered RABBITS early this morning too, so we shall see how this month goes.

Pat, sorry to hear you have been sick and housebound, but glad you are feeling better. I hear ya on the weather. We had 3 inches of heavy wet snow yesterday and it’s cloudy and cold this morning. Par for the course here at Easter. But the egg hunts went on yesterday. Barb, glad you are feeling better too. Hope you get a beach day today. Beth, loved the tables. Somebody is very artistic.

Nothing special planned today. Going to Easter mass, followed by breakfast at church afterwards, then on home. Am making a new camping sign to take on my campouts, so will work on that, plus I’m sure there will be a dog walk as well.

Wishing you all a Blessed Easter!

Good morning Everybody from not so sunny CT. Pat, not being able to breathe easily must have been scary. So glad you are feeling better. My insurance plan changed while I was traveling, and I had to have a wellness visit with my PCP. She really insisted that I get the booster shot for pneumonia. She is also big on getting a flu shot every year. Insurance plan is sending me a $50 gift certificate for getting a wellness physical and I'm going to buy a new toaster. Yay!
Happy Easter and may the bunny leave some chocolate eggs.....enjoy today. Peggy

No "Rabbits" for me this Easter, but I was up early and went to Sunrise Service at the little lake next to the church. April Fools...It was foggy and the "sun" did not appear, but praise be to God, the "Son" has risen! Going to regular church service at 10 am followed by a lovely Easter buffet at the dining room. Not sure what the rest of the day holds in store.

So sorry to hear that you were so sick, Pat, and glad to hear you are on the mend.

Hope everyone has a blessed day, whatever your plans.

Happy Easter. Happy Rabbits Day from rainy Winchester KY. Glad to know you are healing Pat. Blood and Oxygen are two of the issues that are high on my serious list. The brain does not function well without Oxygen. I start back to work on a spring project on Thursday. Have a good month if we don't hear from you.

Happy Easter and Rabbits! I actually remembered this morning! Pat, glad you’re feeling better and Barbie too. No plans for the day other then cooking a big chicken that needed out of the freezer. I won’t even put a dent in it but there’ll be leftovers for other meals! So some of it will go back in the freezer. Beth, tables are really cute. A good find.

Sue, think we’re going to get the snow later tonight! Temps are steadily going down since I got up this morning. And we’re under a winter advisory until sometime tomorrow. The time of year where you never know how to dress for the day! So nothing else happening here. I’m anxious to get out in the yard but just been to cold and wet so I’ll just have to wait it out. Hope you all have a good day.

Happy & Blessed Easter ladies~~~

Pat, sorry to hear you've been I'll, but sounds like you got things accomplished. Barbie glad to hear your on the mend too. I'd recommend a chiropractor like Sue suggested. I miss mine, but have only needed to find one in California during my 6 months on the road.

I've finally said goodbye to Arizona after 3+ months and am now in Utah. Already have Zion NP & Grand Staircase Escalante off my bucket list. Lots more to see here before I head up to Yellowstone in May.

That's it from me. Have a joyous day & stay safe wherever you are.

Good Morning, didn’t even enter my head to say rabbits until I was long into my early morning Benji walk. Spent the day yesterday, all day with the daughter and grand sons and two of the greats. Lots of laughing. The greats are so funny with one another.
Today looking forward to the basketball game on TV. Other than that, no plans.b

Pat, that paint by number is gorgeous! Way too big for me tho. I would start with one of the little ones they make for kids! Don't have that much patience!

Well, April Fools to me! As soon as I finished my first post earlier, my neck pain came back with a vengeance! Then my airbed sprung a leak, so spent most of the night on my recliner. Not feeling good this morning. Hoping Walmart is open today so I can buy another airbed. Will also see if I can find a soft neck collar to keep my neck more stable.

Cloudy today so the sunrise service I heard about for Oceanside didn't have a sunrise here either.

No beach trip for me today either.

I am not sure if my insurance covers chiropractors. If so, I think I will check that out if this doesn't start getting better soon.

Have a good day! :D
