Good morning
I slept in, it was 7 when i got up and made coffee. No surprise really, i was awake at 1:30 and up for a little while before i went back to bed. No big plans for today, also no surprise as im on tight budget until i get the fifthwheel moved into storage. But i might go visit son today, ill check with him around noon and see if he has plans.
I figured out how to turn off the auto correct and i think im happy with doing that. I make less typing errors than auto correct! Nothing else is new, just routine cleaning to keep the mess at a minimum.

Update--Had to make emergency trip to Georgia to help aunt and uncle get to Florida. He is bent over and has memory problems, plus some lingering cancer. She has cracked her hip and has a broken femur in her arm. Neither can care for the other. He is stubborn about packing up so fast, but we are trying to take clothing and necessities down for three months in the two cars we have, and will deal with mess and final moving later this summer. They are basically well-to-do hoarders. Not messy but incredible stuff in closets that needs to be cleaned before we sell. Also, things like dozens of empty boxes, empty kleenex boxes and probably more than a hundred takeout boxes. piles of magazines, and mail, etc. You would not believe it. Well, maybe you all would.

Her niece is here also, and conspiring to get them down to their condo in a place that has care services and things like meals available. Will also call in private care people.

Anyway, at 5:30 am yesterday, while coming up to get me out of bed in a panic to get aunt's arm unstuck from between couch cushions where she was sleeping, niece fainted from low blood pressure and hit head on wood floor upstairs. I checked her out but she was too dizzy after half an hour to stand up, so I called 911. Had them check her out, and we determined she seemed fine, albeit with big lump on head. so they put her in bed, then went downstairs and checked out aunt. I got them all back in bed my 8 and we all slept a bit more. Horrible day.

Hope nothing else exciting happens, but are trying to tie up loose ends and leave here tomorrow or Tuesday for the long drive!! Wish me luck.

I slept in til 10:30 this morning! I don't think I moved a muscle all night! Probably needed that after a very busy day at work yesterday.

Have lots of little things to do around here today. Catching up on laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc. plus a few small projects. Will take my time. My energy level is still not great but getting a little better each day. Just still have this annoying cough tho!

Beautiful sunny, cool, breezy day. Hoping I can get my new futon put together today on the porch so I can hang out there for awhile.

Emily slept next to me all night. She is so sweet! She is chasing a fly on the porch now. Lola is hanging out on her catio outside.

Judy, what a start to your day!,!! Wouldn’t wish that on anyone! I have often wondered what it meant when people hoard empty cardboard boxes. My aunt had an empty bedroom full of them. I used to have the garage rafters full of card board boxes. I still find, to this day, difficulty throwing them away. (But I do
I hope your aunt and uncle stay down at their Florida residence. It sounds perfect for them at this stage of their life. And you will be leaving soon for your UK trip.

There are also maybe 10 closets full of clothing they have not worn in many years. My aunt keeps saying "waste not, want not". This house is on the side of a hill and about 7,000 sq ft. in three levels. Basement has card playing room, workroom with access to outdoors (clothes in it also), plus very large square dance room, and maids quarters consisting of large bedroom/sitting room, full kitchen and full bathroom, but no one has ever even slept there.

Top floor has three bedrooms and landing sitting room, plus two full baths and a huge sewing room. And is it completely furnished with expensive stuff. Anyone got a family of 12 plus a mother-in-law that could use a really big house in the mountains?

Uncle is really moving slow. Won't leave for Florida until he pays all the bills, at which he is moving like molasses.

My kids ought to be very thankful that I am down to 12 large plastic storage bins and what is in my motorhome!!!!

Other niece and I are exhausted, so stuff other than we take to Florida in two cars will have to wait a few months until we can clean it all up.

Judy, I feel your pain. I have about had it with family at this point. Everyone wants to help and I want to be left alone. Today I had to pick my son's ex-wife and her one year old baby at the air port. His 15 year old son wouldn't come but his ex-wife insisted on coming. They have been divorced over 10 years. Thank goodness she is afraid of cats and won't stay at my house. I just hope she can rent a car tomorrow and maybe she will get lost. I have so many things to take care of and I don't have time to see about her.

Martha I so get what you mean. Sometimes we just need to be left alone to deal with everything. I like knowing IF I need some help I have people to count on. But until then just leave me alone and let me get what I need to get done DONE. Hugs to you my friend. Hope they all go home soon ha ha

Oh Boy Martha, I understand what you are talking about, now. My daughter, when a new widow, asked me to leave two weeks after her husband died. I didn't understand then, but did leave. Since then I have talked with widows who felt the same way. Just leave me alone!!! And with the second whammy of Scott.
