Happy Spring!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Happy Spring!

Morning all. Today marks the official arrival of spring. At least on the calendar. Mom Nature may have something else to say about that  but it’s been beautiful here, sunshine and clear blue skies. Temps are warming up slow but sure. Giving me hitch itch, but will have to settle for day trips the pictures you posted from the Hillsborough GTG Sarah. Looks like you gals had fun despite the weather. I’m glad you are down where you are and not in AL with all the severe weather and tornadoes last night. Hope they all missed Huntsville. I also want to wish belated Birthday wishes to all those who’s Birthdays I missed. Tina, looks like you had a great cousin visit. Sory about the one who passed away, but it’s nice to see the family history. Eing passed from one generation to the next. Safe travels to NC.

Nothing special going on here. Going to run the vac, change out curtain rods and hang new curtains, then back to my scrapbooking. Been fun reliving last years trips. Thought of OtherSharon, Beale (Eileen) and her DH, and those who were at the IL GTG, the things we did and places we saw, as I put in my pictures. Thanks for the memories.

It doesn't look or feel like spring here, it is another cloudy, drizzly cold day. The trees are starting to bloom but somehow they don't look as pretty under the clouds. Emma did well again at puppy school but, she wanted to stay! I started leading her to the car and she turned and tried to follow the trainer into the house. She said she probably wanted to go and play with her dogs again but needless to say I was crushed. ;) I am amazed at how much she has learned in the two days she has been there. She had pictures of Emma on a down stay with her two black poodles and another of them all sitting on short stools. I tried to forward them to my p hone but the signal wasn't strong enough. I was so pleased she learned to play with her dogs, she was shy the first day but guess she got over it. 'Not much going on today other than take a friend to an appointment. I hope we don't skip spring and go straight into summer this year!

It has cooled off here again. Yesterday it was 85 and today is 56. I don't know how cool it was last night but the heat never came on. All the storms passed North of us. I haven't talked to my sister but they were in the path of some of it. Looks like there are tornado warnings in Florida now.

My son wanted me to go with the truck to help him move some things. They have been moving for 2 months. He never called and I'm not calling him. I want to go see if there are any rose bushes left. It's getting late for roses and there won't be a very good selection. Last year I wanted a yellow rose and the one I got is kind of spindly. Maybe this year I can take better care of them.

Happy Spring! First official day of spring and we’re under a winter storm advisory until tomorrow night! Hearing varied amounts of the white stuff! It hasn’t started here yet but it’s coming! And of course I have an appointment so will be out in it. I’ll go to my appointment and then just get myself home. Defiantly sounds like snowblower will get a workout!

Barbie, glad you’re feeling better. Take it easy and give yourself time to recover completely. Beth, guess you’ll be heading north in a bit. Hoping you miss the bad weather. I see I missed a bunch of birthdays again so I will wish a belated birthday greeting. And a greeting to Lisa from RI. If you venture to PA, give a shoutout and maybe we can get together. Sometimes I feel like a perpetual newbie, always have to relearn systems after Lola sits for the winter months! Hope you all have a good day and stay safe if you are in the areas for bad weather.

Happy Spring! I get my seasons all confused with my south winters/north summers. I expect I'll hit some winter weather yet this year :) .

But I did spend yesterday doing some spring cleaning. Just because in a few days it'll need to be done again, doesn't mean I can't call it that!

Good morning gals...

I thought Sarah already headed home? Hopefully, I am wrong. Nasty weather up that way.

Am not feeling very good this morning. Indigestion and dizzy. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired!

I got up earlier because I heard scratching from under the house again. Sure enough, the skirting is pulled away again. Also, there are weeds growing all around the house (thru the gravel) and unfortunately, they are nettles! Was wearing my sandals so now my feet are stinging where some of the leaves touched my skin. Will have to block off the skirting again and set up the live trap and see what is under there. But not today.

Am supposed to go back to work tomorrow but not sure that I am up to that yet. Just no energy. I have some things to do around here today too. I really need to do at least one load of laundry.

Hope you all have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, Sarah is in Ocala and she and I went out for an early lunch today, at one of our favorite Mom & Pop restaurants. We both brought home leftovers. Steve stayed home because of his cough. The storms seem to have by-passed us, and for that, I am forever grateful. Sarah will pull out in the morning to visit with Liz and I hope to meet up with Carolb and Anita.

Glad to hear Sarah is with you and not at home! Looks like the weather was really bad up that way.
