Good morning Sue & everyone!

Enjoy the fish fry tonight!

We woke up to a frost this morning but we should see 70 degrees later on. We went shopping this morning for a seafood feast we're putting on tomorrow for us and our neighbors. We bought 4 pounds of large shrimp and 4 pounds of large scallops. We've asked everyone to bring a side. The weather tomorrow should be perfect, with temperatures in the mid to high 70's with lots of sunshine. Starting Sunday, the weather goes downhill, with rain and cooler temperatures moving in.

We're going target shooting this afternoon, which we really miss. That's a daily ritual for us, since we live in the country and can target shoot in our backyard.

I'm enjoying reading about all of your trips on the roads and Barbie & Donna fixing up their houses. We'll be in Ocala for a few more months if anyone is traveling through this area. Have a good day everyone!

Hit a wrong button and lost my post!

My handyman was just here. My fridge is not on wheels and he said it would be hard to move since it is hooked up to the water line for the ice maker (didn't even know I had one!). So I will have to crawl up and over the fridge to paint back there.

I checked Houzz for cabinet handles and found some cheaper but the shipping was outrageous so I ended up ordering some on-line from Home Depot. They have a much larger selection on line than in the store. I needed 12 for the hutch in the dining room and 12 for the master bath (there is a built in dresser in the walk-in closet that needs handles too).

He removed the brackets from the vertical blinds and I will have to paint where they were removed. Luckily, I found a can of paint for that in the shed. While I have that out, I can paint the yellow walls in the hallway. Most of the hall and entryway is the off-white color but two sections are yellow for some reason.

Off to the grocery store soon and then get ready for work.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Still morning for a little while. Have all my painting done, started doing demolition in the yard so stuff fits in the dumpster. Have a checkup home nurse visit today, something I guess my insurance does once a year with the seniors. Suddenly I feel "that" category being considered a senior. I knew, but still,,,, anyway, she's late. That kinda screws up my day.
I finally got laundry done, just need to put it away.
Looking at my free camping app and making plans and the time seems to be moving right along. It's mixed emotions for sure.
Y'all have a great day, be safe and hope ya get warm.

Not doing anything I intended today. Headaches have been worse this week... So being a bum is called for. But since Peaches is so much better I think we'll try a walk to the little IGA this afternoon. I need bananas and strawberries for my smoothies. It's actually good not to go to town... I'd spend more and get junk I don't need!

I emailed Melissad... She's ok, just some changes going on that I'll leave it for her to talk about if she visits here. I told her she's missed.

I'm so happy Peaches can do longer walks again. We made it to the IGA and back no problem. She's eating well and went up to bed by 7 pm. I'll have to wake her in a bit to give her her evening meds.

Ava, I went to an urgent care facility a year ago, and they asked me the "senior" questions: Did I live alone? Did I feel safe living alone? Has anyone tried to hurt me? Have I fallen recently? Did I feel safe driving a car? Etc.

I told them I had fallen off my bike and that I drove a 32' motorhome. That kind of shut them up, but I was NOT ready for those kinds of questions. :o

Went to Sonoran Desert Museum yesterday, but got really tired coming back on my bike. I guess I am only good for 3-4 hours of something these days. So, I adapt and take things in small steps. End of semester, so swamped with papers to grade and am sitting in all day and tomorrow trying to catch up. (Isn't it funny we talk about papers, but nearly always what we are talking about is no longer actually paper?)
