Good afternoon (barely), gals!

Just got back from the vet with Emily. She did good but was very quiet and shy. Never meowed the whole time in the car or at the vet. But she was purring so loud that the vet could hardly listen to her heartbeat! They probably don't have that happen too often! The vet thinks her chin sore is possibly an allergy to plastic from her foot bowl. Never heard of that before but she said it is fairly common. So got some stuff to put on it and will need to get metal or ceramic bowls for her.

So much for the rain today. Beautiful sunny blue skies here. The storm system is staying up around LA and north of there for now. Maybe we will get some rain tomorrow.

Need to go pay bills and my rent and then off to work later. I have Sunday off and am thinking of going hiking somewhere. Haven't done much of that yet since I moved back. Maybe Torrey Pines Preserve and beach. Love that place!

Barbie, I had to take one of my cats to the vet a few years ago for a sore on her mouth. I think they called it cat acme. I had to get rid of the plastic bowls and get stainless steel.

It's a beautiful day at the campground. The others are crafting and I'm playing on the computer. We tried to fish this morning. One lady caught a nice white crapie on her first cast and a small bream later. I never even got a bite.

Think I'll go look for rocks that would be good to paint.

I went to pay my rent today at the park office. The manager said that he has tree trimmers coming on Monday or Tuesday to remove the dead trees in the creek. So happy about that!

Then as I was leaving the office, I stopping in the area where the Jacuzzi is, to check it out, The door was unlocked going in but when I went to leave the door was locked from the inside! I was locked in! There is a metal gate to the outside so I just sat there hoping and waiting someone would come by to let me out! What a strange feeling that was! Luckily, after about 10 minutes a lady came by and let me out! Yay!

Barbara we too had a cat with kitty acne. Cleaned it with alcohol pads and switched to stainless steel bowl for her. Current kitties have no issues but one eats from a small glass bowl made by Corningware the other eats her chicken off a paper plate. We were told years ago the Acne was common.

Barbie - Guess I was lucky that all the years I've had cats I never ran into that problem. Dollar Tree has ceramic pet bowls. I picked up 4 or 5 for Elsa so I have extras if I have to leave her alone or I break one. I use them for water (filtered or bottled) and food (both dry and wet). Evie

Evie, thanks for the info on Dollar Tree. Pet stores want $10 to $15 for one small bowl! I will check that out tomorrow.
