THERE'S TRUDY!!

Good to hear from you...we were all getting a bit worried. What a beautiful spot you have out there in WI! Great views, and sort of off on your own....perfect!

What will you be doing for work, or don't you know yet? I can't remember how you found this job, either, and would appreciate your reminding me again. Work cmping will undoubtedly be something I will do when I retire, and so need to discover how to go about it.

Anyway, have a fun time! Happy you are safely there!

Looks like a beautiful place to spend the summer. If we get out and about this summer maybe we will go up that way.

What a beautiful setting! I'm so glad you are enjoying that area. I'll be waiting to hear more and see lots more pics. Escpecially that Native area.

Looks like a winner, Trudy. Tell us how your first days on the job went and what your duties are. For that gorgeous site and view, you must have to do something pretty hard - like mucking out outhouses or something!

Good for you.

Well they worked me hard today !!! I cleaned the cabins, weed wacked and mowed with the push mower (I want the rider !!) I worked almost 9 hours today - that's a bit much for a first day. I'm so tired and sore tonight I hope I can move tomorrow !!!
Hopefully this will not be the norm - they're way behind on the lawn work due to the weather and then this is free camping weekend at KOA so that was extra work and will be again when everyone checks out.
I didn't even get much of a chance to talk with the owners - she handed me the instructions for cleaning the cabins, showed me where the supplies were and off I went !!! Then I was told to grab a weed wacker and wack away ! I hope that I can talk to them next week and find out what sort of work schedule I'll have and figure a few things out !! I'm just winging it right now.
Oh well - tomorrow's another day. I'm suppose to report at 9am and then I think I'm suppose to clean the bathrooms, fill the ice cream display thingy in the store, work the cash register in the store, water and week one of the flower beds - good gravy I'm tired thinking of it. I really really hope this doesn't continue cause I won't survive ! Oh, I have to help at the ice cream social tomorrow afternoon too !!
I'm ready for bed.

Trudy,
Sit them down SOON and make an agenda that works for you - don't let them abuse you - you won't last and you won't like it. I love the idea of having so many varied duties - it keeps me happy, and not bored, but geez - yes, you just made me tired, too.
