I'm parked at a casino in Tucson tonight. The one I normally would park at is at the other side of town and quiet. This one has road noise and plane noise and train noise... Lots of noise lol. Came here instead because it's only a few miles from the dealer I have to have the rv at by 8 am. I have a feeling the alarm I have set won't be needed. I can't imagine how loud this place would be if my hearing was good lol. Actually, I normally can sleep through anything, but I sure do love silent nights except for the sounds of nature!

Peaches ate better today. Tomorrow I have to find something other than peanut butter to put her meds in. She likes peanut butter, but doesn't like anything too many days in a row. Silly girl.

You must be Desert Diamond Casino. Casino of the Sun is my favorite , don't remember much about Casino Del Norte but I used to take a group to the casinos every month back when I worked tor All Aboard.

I was pretty sure that's what you meant. Either that or there's a casino down here that allows rv overnighting that I don't know about.

we are getting lots of wind right now....not happy about that....it is colder this week than it has been all winter...suppose to be warming up not cooling down!!!
going to Vegas for the week Shadow has a dental appt. gives me a chance to see how my sister is doing. have finished two projects this winter...a Navajo afghan for my nephew he likes the Iowa Hawkeye team so used their colors for it which is yellow black and white because it calls for 4 colors used grey as the 4th color...and over a year ago my sister asked one of our sisters in law what she would charge to make her a quilt the price wasn't something she could afford so I took it upon me to do something a friend showed me a quilt top she had from what I understood from my niece it was the colors she likes...so when friend said she would sell it to me and grabbed it...it is now done with the exception that I need to stitch a small section about an inch and another area about the size of a dime put fray check on it but friend said I should stitch a few there as well .. so will take it up as well...I hope she likes it after I have given it to her I will post pictures of it and the afghan as well on FB haven't figured out how to post here.

what a day!!! not a redo for sure...
had the alarm set for 6:15 so we could be over to the hospital before me sister went to surgery phone rang in my sleep induced state thought it was the alarm until I saw it was from my mom thought she just wants to give me a message for sister...but heard tears in her voice as she said she had bad news...told me my nephew was killed in a car accident I had assumed that it was this morning when he was on his way to work but from what I've gleaned last night guess it took awhile to to recover him and then to figure out where to contact next of kin his wife ... they don't have a land line. just been a bad day but sister still has her leg the doctor isn't holding out a lot of hope..said lots of infection even ate a hole in one of the bones not sure which one if what he did doesn't keep it cover may have to go in and do something else....he told us it was a 40-50 percent chance of losing it...not good but right now it is hopeful now if that was a lot lower like 5-10 percent then not much hope...now I have to decide if I am going to make a trip up north for the funeral or just stay in AZ too early to take 5th wheel up weather still too cold and unreliable. on the plus side I got 5 complete rows on my Swedish weave done...because sister will be going to rehab for who knows how long I took the quilt in and showed it to her will post a picture of it when I put it on the bed and take a picture of it

So sorry to hear of your nephew's passing so tragically. And hoping for the best for your sister. I think she will need all the support you can give her at this time. Dont know how much support your family of your nephew has but you have a big family so I am sure there is much love surrounding them at this time. Will be a hard decision, you are torn in two directions. Hugs Sheila.

Sheila, I am so sorry to hear about your nephew. How old was he? And hoping your sister has a good outcome on her leg. Hang in there and do what you think is best.
