We have news!

I officially have a daughter-in-law and I couldn't have gotten a better one! We received a facetime call yesterday from them and they had just said their vows at the courthouse! Bronc made the announcement! So I don't have to worry about buying the standard mother of the groom beige dress and keeping my mouth shut during wedding planning!

Yay! Did you manage to not say "About time" lol. (I'm speaking from experience, having lived with my partner for nine years...).

Yea! And I agree about how wonderful it is not to have to buy a dress and try to keep your mouth shut! (I hated the dress I ended up with for both of my kids' weddings.)

Congratulations. I agree about the relief of not having tough dress requirements. Both of my children had unfussy weddings and focused more on the celebration gatherings afterwards. Clothing was "relaxing" nice casual...... Love that Bronc got the honor of announcing.

I didn't say it! But I certainly thought it! Nine years must be the magic number....that's how long they have been together. Ashley didn't want to get married until she had her college loans paid off.

My younger son and his girlfriend have been together about 5 years and I try to mind my own business. His brother married 2 crazy women and I think that has him scared.

I always have said that once they are grown....They get to make their own choices and the consequences of those choices....and I want no blame or credit. But I will smile sometimes.
