Has anybody heard from Barbie? That Lilac fire is closest to her and grown to 3,000 acreas. Hope she is still safe. I believe her new place is in that area called Vista. Wish she would check in.

Thanks for your concern! I am watching closely. I had a neighbor ready to get Lola earlier while I was at work, if necessary. The mandatory evacuation area is about 5 miles north of me in north Vista. I will be watching all night and will leave if it gets near the 78 freeway.

So sad to learn about all the horses lost in the fire north of here. :cry:

Was just thinking, I don't have any idea where I will go if I need to leave. I guess will head east on the 78 and south on the 15 somewhere. Wish I still had my camper!

Just a quick note before I head to work. Things OK here now. Fire is headed west now so I am safe as of now.
