For Josef, Sunday was one of those special days...... (He is hoping for a couple more come the middle of the month in Orlando.)
(Reposted from FB after I was able to get the photo from my phone to my computer. )Josef says that he had a nice time this weekend at the UKC shows in Kentucky. Lark completed her UKC Championship with another two group placements and she doesn't turn 10 months for another week! My friend Cindy Shaffer's English Cocker, Vandy, finally got a chance to get her wins over competition by earning three group placements Friday and Saturday morning and she now has her UKC Championship. As soon as she completed her Championship Josef and Audrey started showing with her. Just for fun Audrey took Best of Breed over Josef and Vandy Saturday Show 2 and pulled in her own Group 3. She didn't want Josef to feel too full of himself. Then Josef took over Sunday and went BOB in the first show of the day to complete his Wins necessary for his UKC GRCH. . The rest of the day is sort of a blur. Josef finished the day with two Group 1s in the Gun Dog Group. One Reserve BIS and one Best in Show. This particular UKC club also offers an Ultimate BIS competition open to any dog that has taken a BIS or RBIS at any of their shows during 2017 season. That ladies is the big bling ribbon on the right. All I can say is I kept asking Josef if he could gait around the ring "one more time" and he kept answering, yes!
