Wet, Windy Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wet, Windy Tuesday

Good Morning from the soggy 45th. It has been raining here since Sunday evening and has not stopped. A steady rain. Supposed to continue through tomorrow when it will gradually taper off. Some areas have already seen as much as 5 inches and I’m sure we are probably at that same amount. The rivers are rising and some areas under flood warnings. I’m sure the lake levels are as well. And high wind warnings are also out for some areas. Temps have dropped into the 40’s and a mix is possible tonight. Good days to stay inside although I was out running errands. Sure am glad I took advantage of last weeks great weather to finish up fall chores, cover my Trailer and all that. I think today will be putting some new insulation along the basement joist walls in my workshop.

Beth, really like that Cruiser you are getting. Looks like it will be nice to drive. Pat, nice to hear from you. Sounds like all is going well. We haven’t had a killing frost here yet either. CArol, I’m so glad you are out from under the NC house. Knowvyou will miss it, but you can “vacation”up there when you need an NC fix without the worries and upkeep. Sarah, hearvya on the leaves in the gutters. Same issue here. Will clean them out after all this rain is done.should take care of it for this year.

Enough jabbering here. Time to move on. Hope you all have a nice day out there.

Good Morning Sue and Everyone !! I am soooo tired and so much to do. I'm all alone here and thinking its nap time already. Slept inside last night, too warm in RV with no A/C, in Fl just can't do that. But strange bed didn't sleep good either and I forgot to bring Mr P's blankie in and he woke me several times, letting me know he really didn't appreciate my thoughtlessness. He's sleeping now, ate, pottyed and now nap time. I'm to nap time too :D everything else accomplished.

Sky looks terrible outside, had sprinkles and just not a good day to unload more stuff. Maybe this afternoon. Hoping prepaid return box for directV box comes today. I need to know I'm free for appointments at Gen place and Trans Am. Need to do soon, really be busy places soon, if not already.

No real news, taking advantage of wifi here. Hoping you all have a great day, stay safe, please,
CArol

Good morning gals! :D

My manager hired a couple new people (guys!) for the shop so that will help some, altho business is really slow. They are going to try and do some damage control from the gal they fired. They are going to send out coupons (free haircut?) to the customers she had, to try and bring them back. I will be done there the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and then will start at the shop in Vista the following weekend. Hoping it is a lot busier there!

It is supposed to get up to 108* today! Then start heading back down later in the week. There is a high fire danger warning out. Saw some idiot on the highway last night throw a lit cigarette out his window! Made me so mad! What are those people thinking??

Hope you all have a great day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good morning to all. We have started off on our annual journey to the lovely country of Mexico. Spent the night in Quartzsite. Was near 100 yesterday and windy for for drive here. This morning I am shivering! Gotta love the desert. Will truck on down the road to southern AZ - Amado - to spend some time before crossing into Mexico.
To all of you on the road also, safe travels.
