TUESDAY, AND THE WEEK GOES ON

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

TUESDAY, AND THE WEEK GOES ON

GOOD MORNING, ALL OF YOU OUT IN CAMPING LAND!

Excessive heat I can do without, but this coldness back here is trying, as well, seeing as how it's now MAY! It's 29 here this morning, and many little buds and baby blossoms, like my lilacs, are getting some serious frost. I can only hope they are hardy little critters, and will honor me with sweet-smelling blossoms before spring is over.

After my alarm problems the past couple of work mornings, I got out every alarm clock I own last night, thought I had set them all, and hoped for the best! I had one, a little dog with a bugle, that pops open its eyes and plays reveille loud enough to waken the neighbors about a mile up the road, while SHOUTING, "WAKEUP---RISE AND SHINE!!" It was my daughter's when she was in high school, and the poor thing has been thrown across her bedroom more than once! Yet still he works like an alarming charm! Another alarm, that I never even realized was an alarm, crowed like a rooster. One other didn't go off, as I failed to turn it on! And the one that I have been using regularly finally worked, too! I managed to go online yesterday and get some ideas how to reset its time zone so it wasn't always programming itself each night at midnight for the wrong time zone! So now I am all set! Molly is walking around here in awe, wondering what in heck is going on that all these noises are going off!! Quite the morning here in the boonies!

Coffee is hot and tastes good----c'mon in and chat awhile about life in your zone. May the weather all over the country improve soon.....things are getting way too weird out there----floods, tornadoes, snow, horrible winds, unstoppable rain----I guess I won't say anything more abut the coldness up here, as we have none of the above.

Hope you all have a fun day doing special things! Those packing for the AK trip, take your time, as they don't have many 'stop n' shops' up there! Happy Tuesday!!

Happy travels!

Good morning all!

I'm off to the dentist this morning for my regular check-up and cleaning. One more of those appts. I need to do before leaving on the big trip. Just 3 more days! (I never count today)

The rv is in the shop to get a dump valve replaced so there will be no leaks while traveling... Then I'll hook it up, get the refer cold and pack it up. Saving the house cleaning and last load of laundry until Friday....no sense in having to do it twice!

Hope your day is blessed with all good things.

Good-morning !! I have a drs. app., and didn't intend to check in this morning, but Maggie and I, have had a nice walk and just couldn't resist, have a few mins.

Soos, you gave me the best laugh this morning, I could picture all of those alarms going off, what a riot, I pictured. Poor Molly, she was there in it

I'm off to do the majority of things on my "To Do" list after the Dr. app. Its just a check up. One thing I really have to do is see if I can pick up my check from the court house, for my two weeks of Jury Duty, before they mail it, its only good for 90 days, and I DID NOT SET THERE AND GET TWO HEADACHES FOR NOTHING!!!!!!

Thanks for the morning laugh, Soos, One day I just have to meet you!!!

Have a great day everyone and Please stay safe in however you spend your day.

Good morning everyone!

Oh Soos,.... and I can't even stand ONE alarm clock! I use my internal clock which doens't let me down. I can just imagine all of that din and I want to put the pillow over my head!

For some reason i have a headache this a.m. and i never get headaches. Wonder what's up with that? So I've taken some tylenol and hope for the best.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

I was not ready to wake up and get up this morning!!! Went to bed a little after 11pm and i slept really good so i don't know why I just wasn't ready. Dang young guys they have working here made a freaking racket this morn getting the trash at 7:30. Grrrrr I had no idea really who it was making the noise but I was about ready to holler and let them know that it they made any more noise that they would manage to wake up the rest of the campground! :x :x :x

We are breaking down camp today to head for the lodge. Kelly is hard at it trying to fold up a 10'x20' tarp. OMG everyone is in to making freaking noise!!!! I keep trying to tell her that if she will give me a few more minutes that I will help her with it and it will be so much easier with 2 people!!!

Nothing for breakfast or for the table at all this morning. Sorry about that. I am only on my second cup for the day and I think it will take a few more to get my motor running. blech!

Well I gonna throw this cup down my throat and grab another one and get busy!!!

Hope everyone has a great day and remembers to stay safe!!!

Love to all

LOL Soos, Those alarms were so loud, they woke me up here in FL.

Well, we're leaving FL today, heading toward Biloxi for two nights, then New Orleans for 3 nights, then Betty's for 3 nights- if you'll don't know about Betty's in Abbeville, La you need to-a great place to hang out while seeing southern LA. Told Betty she had to guarantee no rain while we were there, and she was happy to oblige. On to new adventures. Everyone have a good time today. carold

Well it is almost noon here...and we are having a lazy morning in the cold and wet winter that has seemed to return. I tell you this PMS"s that mother nature is doing this spring is getting a bit old I tell you.

Sleep deprived is what I call myself today. Our youngest special needs one, decided that 3 am was a good time to finally fall asleep. I can never get to sleep til I know she is asleep, as she will continue to get up and get into things. So about 3:30 am I went to bed..reset the alarm for 8:30 instead of 7am. It went off, I shut it off and then we all slept in...til about 10 am.

So here I sit doing my usual morning computer stuff and having coffee. I think I need to go and get dressed..before the clock really does hit 12:00

Good afternoon all.

Soos, Your clock story is too funny. I reminds me of one of those cartoons that takes place in a clock shop and all the clocks start chiming at the same time. Hold your ears!!!!. I hope you get this clock thing sorted out fast.

it's been raining here in NE Oklahoma since about mid April. I feel water logged. This happened last year where we had rain for 50 out of 60 days. the ground was so wet I couldn't get the truck into the backyard to load the camper and missed getting out. This year I took a short trip with a friend so she could take her maiden voyage and was able to load the camper before the rain. The camper is still loaded because the ground is too soggy to unload. Oh well, I'll just plan another trip. Take care all.

Echo and Wicked, how exciting it's getting closer to your actual workcamping jobs. Best of luck with it. Keep us posted.
