Birds at my Feeder

I've not only got hummingbirds at my feeder but now the Oriels are coming. I love the zoom on my Kodak camera and then I use another program to crop and enlarge and improve the color. I love having them come to the feeder but I'm filling it every day.

Good reminder for me to get my hummer feeder out. They usually show up around may 1st. I love them too!

ME TOO! Gotta get my hummingbird feeder up, too. I've never seen other birds drink from mine, however. How neat!

The bright black and yellow is a male Oriel and the dull colored one is the female.

Beautiful birds! I notice your feeder has a perch...maybe that's why it attracts other birds too?

Beautiful pictures. I've always wanted a hummingbird feeder.
Maybe this is my year! I'll set them up when I get settled in
at the state park later this month.

Last year I filled a birdbath and it wasn't level so some water always dripped out. I thought I had caught a Hummingbird and injured it in the first downpour, but then saw it was having a shower! Never thought of them having a bath. Don't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to let you know that Beth and I are in a Forest Service Campground...no fee. There is a full rushing river right beside us. it sounds wonderful, and we are the onlky people here. At 9000ft I'm not surprised! Doing this on my generator, will catch up with you soon.

Karen, I got into humming birds when I was in Florida and enjoyed watching had as many as 12...now I'm in Pa and I heard they are arriving.. and I've got my humming bird feeder ready to put up.. Oh I love those pictures..

God Bless those darling creatures.. I loved the Ruby Throated .. he's flash his throat when I was out near the feeder and buzz and do you know they chirp LOL
Can't wait to see what and when they arrive here... even got some plants for them to put in the ground..
