Oh Tina, I am so sorry. I remember when Stuart was a puppy and I watched along with the others as he grew up and traveled on so many wonderful adventures with you. Sending many hugs.

Tears are flowing... Which started Peaches barking. Oh, we'll miss Stuart.

I'm so very sorry, Tina. He was a very special pup... Lucky to have you as a Mom because you recognized him for himself. :(

Always so heartbreaking when we lose a loved one. Stuart was one of the most well traveled and adventurous canines I have known. He had a super life with you and the other pups.

A dark day. We go into the relationship knowing they won't live as long as we do . . . and then they break our hearts. But what a wonderful time you two had together!

Thank you all for your kind words. The hardest part was watching him during those last weeks and understanding that given his age and condition there probably weren't any answers out there that would change the outcome for him. As I mentioned I was just thankful that he never seemed to be in any real discomfort but I knew he had reached the cliff and that was all about to change.

Very sorry you had to let Stuart go but he will always be with you in spirit. He is now romping with Hershel at the Rainbow Bridge!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
