Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday Sunrise

Good Morning to All We are in Panguitch, Utah up before light because we want to go to the Balloon Ascension at 6:30 - right now it is COLD - both of us have on long pants. I just hope the smoke has lifted and won't interfere with the balloons.
Got to finish my coffee and get on the road.

Good Morning Carol and all who follw. I too am up early. Final day of my journey home. I'm in one of our MI state parks in southern Michigan. It's a nice park with walking trails, 2 lakes and a number of things to see in the area. Cool right now, at 60 degrees which feels so good after the humid, hot weather i had on most of my trip. Had a pretty good drive over here despite heavy rain before I left the KOA in OH and one heavy rain in the the turnpike, but the front from Cindy came in behind me with more heavy rains, so glad I left when I did.

Time to get moving here. Y'all have a nice day.

Gmorning Carol, Sue & all to follow:)

Carol, smoke from fires? Haven't seen much news lately, but did hear about fires in AZ...Sue, I too am surprised you're almost home. Glad you've had a good trip.

Thought I'd report on my visit to Adirondacks--was great to see Tina, Liz & Birdie again! Liz & Tina had already done their kayaking before I arrived. Birdie had prepared a blend of fresh fruits, which we ate in her rig since there was a bit of rain just as I got there. But then we had some time to sit at the lake shore at Liz's site. Visit was brief, but I hope to see any or all of them again since they'll be in the NE for a while. And to the three of them, I again apologize for being so yakky  I was overdosed on coffee!

Sunny here today & will get out to the yard shortly. Nothing strenuous, the old body is hurting from fence post work. Daltin, the neighbor who is helping us, has his HS grad ceremony this afternoon, & tmrw I'll go to his grad party. Have watched him grow up since I moved here in '04, a really good kid.

Hope y'all are well, have a great day 8-)

Good Morning! I have the laptop out so can type. :) Carolb, so good to see your posts! I understand about the dreaded rocks, but you will love the fence! Sue, hard to believe you are on your way home - glad you've had a nice trip.

A week from now my daughter's move will be over - thank goodness! With her work and commute, she doesn't have a lot of time nor is she getting much sleep! I am basically on cleaning detail. Having a heat wave today and tomorrow - I'm doing a garage sale for her tomorrow (and it's her last day off before the move).

I don't keep up on the news much either so had to look up about the Utah fire. I have been in that area. Meeting two other SS in Utah next month for a ride through Capitol Reef so will be keeping an eye out.

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Good morning all.
Carol, I enjoyed reading your blog on your Utah travels - love it there. Is there a balloon festival in Panquitch, UT.

Good evening!
Worked from 8 to 3 today. Then went to my brother's house for a family BBQ, our last family get-together before I leave for CA. We had a nice time and my brother (who was in the accident) is doing really great! He didn't miss a beat in any of the conversations! Sharp as a tack!

Work all day tomorrow again but is my last day there. Then the real work continues at home getting ready to leave! Will be glad to finally get on the road!

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
