On The Road Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

On The Road Thursday

Good Morning,

Getting ready to hit the road here this morning. Heading toward home. Had a wonderful 3 days of exploring with O'Sharon. She really gave me the grand tour of this part of PA and it is the icing on the cake of my trip. That lady is the hostess with the mostest and a fantastic tour guide, not to mention a fun person to be with. Yesterday she out did herself and took me to see the PA Grand Canyon, which was a whole days drive and back from here. Thanks so much again Sharon. I'm sure our fur kids are ready to disown us though after being left those three days by themselves til we got home in ate afternoon

Rosemary, glad you posted. Was wondering where you were on your western adventure. Cheryl, sounds like retirement is getting off to a good sstart. Now for the house closing and you will be free.

I had better get a move on here too. Want to hit the road before long. Looks like rain and storms moving east, so want to get to my next destination in OH before they do. Have a nice day all.

Safe travels Sue and all those on the road. We are hunkered down indoors with temps headed to break a June record of 110 or so. Not much news here. Still hoping a clinical trial will be approved. Mel is ok and trying to do a few things each day. I'm busy trying to get paperwork completed for son to continue on Mel's Navy disability and finish proofing our trust papers so they can be finalized. Still trying to declutter house as I can. Wishing we could be on the road but life brings challenges to be met.

Gosh Sue, seems like you just left on your trip and now you are heading home again! Glad you had such a great tour guide and fun time!

Am feeling lazy this morning. It is raining out and I have no ambition. However, I have a lot to do so I need to get my butt in gear whether I want to or not. Mostly inside stuff today, organizing, etc. Gotta sort out what goes in the camper and what goes in storage.

Hope you all have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Ah, Sue, thanks for the kind words! I had a great time seeing some old and some new to me areas. I think my guys have forgiven me,other then following me around all over the place! I don't mind exploring by myself but it's always fun to have someone else along!

Velda, hope you get all your paperwork in order. Always a chore. Barbie, you'll be taking off before you know it!

I just discovered I have a robin's nest on the top of a light fixture on my back porch! Momma bird is in it now. Gonna have to put something disposable under it so I can clean up the droppings all the time if there are going to be babies. Maybe puddle pads?

Got the yard mowed and it's starting to look like the rain is going to move in soon. Was going to pull some weeds but think I'm going to wait until after the ground sofens up a bit. Chore for the week end maybe. Hope you all have a good day and those in the south, hope you are staying safe from the storm. Travel safe.

I, too, was surprised to hear you're already headed home, Sue. It seems you just left.

Nothing much to report here. Other than many of us are sickened that they are putting out traps and poison for our marmots. They are blaming the marmots for things they don't do. That said, so far the marmots have evaded all traps and seem to be avoiding the poison. Go marmots! If any do die, I hope they do so in one of their tunnels closest to the property doing this... And that the stink hurts their business.

Off to walk Peaches.
