Allegheny Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Allegheny Tuesday

Morning, the sun is shining in a nice blue sky. Going to be a beautiful day and a beautiful area to enjoy it in. Had a fantastic day with O'Sharon yesterday. She took me all over, showed me some really interesting places and where she lives etc. Like Carolb said, going on adventures with Sharon are indeed adventures. We are off and running again today. Punxsutawney and who inows where else. First it's off to a shower and then going to wash my bedding.

Beki, it sounds like you were in GBurg around same time as I was. Don't know where you are now, but I'm up in Woodland, in the NW corner of PA. Woodland Campground, till Thursday. Ava, sounds like you are having so much fun right now. Enjoy. Judy, hope you get rested up. Having the gang there and the heat does take it's toll.

Off to my shower. Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning
well I did my first time in the WalMart parking lot. It made
me nervous but the security guy was very nice and told me
where to actually park and that was behind Sams Club and told
me how to get there. Same shopping center, just farther down.
It was much quieter and I could open all the windows and feel
the breeze. Oh, btw, this is in albq nm, right off the 40 and
Eubank exit. There is also a target on the other side of the
freeway that allows overnight parking.
Had dinner with my friend last night and a good long visit.
Lunch tomorrow with another friend from the school
district in Rio rancho, just north of Albq. Will hang out
today scout around for a park I can plug in tonight to
dump and check water supply.
So far, knock on wood, this old lady is doing everything as
expected. I did however knock my vent pipe cap off at the
campground. I saw it, picked it up and ya, its snapped off.
Will run over to camping world today and see about a fix.
Maggie has really taken to hanging out on the dashboard when
were parked. Soon as I turn the key she dives for her special
spot to the left if the drivers seat. She curls up there with her
blanket and feels safe.
Well, I could ramble on all morning, but need to finish my coffee
and go fuel up at flying j, which I could park there too. Also REI sporting
goods allows overnight parking. I have many choices.
y'all have a great day and be safe.

Good Morning Everyone !! Signals bad here this morning, but so in hopes to tell Ava, how pleased and happy I am to read how at peace and happy you are these days. We all waited with you for these days and now enjoying every minute of this time with you !!! Also great info about all the free parking in that area .

I have a check engine light on my rig and my body has an upset tummy so we haven't left yet. Hoping tummy and fixer guy arrive near the same time today  Kids are satisfied with kids programs on tv as they seldom get to watch tv, so that's good today, for me.

Keeping this short, for me :D and wish those on the road safe travels and others enjoy your day wherever you are or doing.

Just watching the weather 24/7. Something else to worry about. Thank god we got the tree cut down. The weather station gets every one stirred up. We usually can take a lot of rain if there isn't a high tide and strong South wind. It's starting to get breezy but no rain here yet.

Harold has a doctor appointment that we need to keep in the morning so sure hope we can get there.

I have been running the air conditioner in the motorhome on 80 so that it would cycle on and off to keep the mud daubers from building nests. It started tripping the main breaker. Something else I don't have time to see about.

Got up this morning and brought the Jeep in to get the new tires put on. Rides very nice now! Returned a few things and bought a few things at WM and Menards. I took my camper window screens in to get the cloth screening replaced with aluminum screening, so Lola can't claw her way out of the windows.

Got a few more projects done in the camper and then worked at another shop for a few hours to fill in for the manager there. Now I am watching YouTube videos on how to open and close my awning. Will practice that tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Mostly inside stuff planned for tomorrow. Wash clothes, organize stuff in my room to pack for either storage or camper, a couple of sewing projects, write up check lists, etc. Maybe even frost my hair!

Got my inflatable kayak today. :D Will get that packed up in the camper or maybe in my Jeep.

Ava, glad to hear things are going well on your trip! I would love to spend more time exploring New Mexico.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
