My Mom introduced me to this series. If you like mysteries, I think you will like these books. Just read the first in the series.

That does sound interesting. Going to see if it's available on iBooks.

I have been getting the ebook version from the library so I know they are in that format.

I think the series is very well done -- but I have to be in the right sort of mood to read one, because they are sometimes very sad. All wars are terrible, but WWI was a special kind of horrible with so much tragedy in its aftermath. I think the writer shows that very well.

I have just got another Masie Dobbs on my Kindle for iPad. Love her. Haven't read this one yet.

I want to write about RF DELDERFIELD. I read a book by him ages ago which I really liked. To Serve Them All My Days. Then, I found the following on Kindle for iPad. A Long Days Ride. It is three books, covering 60 years of one family. The three books are named: Long Summer Day, Post of Honor and The Green Gauntlet. Read them in order. If you like long family stories, I highly recommend them.

I've read several of Masie Dobbs books but hadn't heard of RF Delderfield. I now have Long Summer Day, which I downloaded for free with my free 30 day of Kindle Unlimited! Thanks for the suggestion Lyn.
