Sunny Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Friday

Good morning all! Looking like a nice sunny day today. So inside work will be put on the back burner and I'll play outside in the yard. Trying to catch up with the weeds in the flower beds. Wish my plants would grow as fast as the weeds! I think I need to put the air conditioner in the window since "they" are talking about a humid and hot few days coming up.

Got word yesterday that my daughter in law's mom had a stroke and was taken to Pittsburgh for treatment. She indicated that she would be there for at least 24 hours so not thinking it was to bad of one. Hoping to get more information later today.

Sue is on the road heading this way! Looking forward to meeting up with her on her return trip. Plan is to spend a few days in this area! Liz and Tina, love the pics of your hike up and down the mountain! Laurel is starting to bloom here too. Donna and Barbie, hope you can start your journeys soon. I can only imagine how you are feeling, one door closes and another opens.

Coffee is done so no excuse to not get started with my day! Got to get dressed and get busy! Hope you all have a great day and week end! Travel safe if you are on the road.

Gmorning OSharon & all to follow:)

Keeping good thoughts for your DIL's mother...also in my catching up, good thoughts for Harold, Mel & others. Can't remember all that I've missed over the past month or so...

Martha, just dawned on me that it was the tree at the end of your driveway by the old house? Yikes, & you saw it hit! Well, I'm going to learn from that, since I'm one who goes outside to watch lightning storms, even though "they" say that's pretty dumb to do

Donna & Barbie, big moves for both of you. Sue, I'm in upstate NY, think you said you'd be this way? Alice, first big trip in Old Lady! Excited for you..

Bro on his way here this a.m. & off to Lowe's to order fence. Our big project for the summer is getting real 6ft wood fence in the yard to block the views of the neighbors' yards. Wire fence has been sufficient to keep dogs in, but I've been craving privacy for a lonnnnng time! Oops he's here now!

Y'all have a great day, be safe always! & thanks to those of you who welcomed me back:) Good to know I haven't been disowned!

Good morning :-)
really nice this morning, was out doing the raking in the yard,
will do it once more before I leave.
Did a little maintenance on the old lady, checked fluid levels,
including the generator. Could not find the brake fluid thingy
so I'm assuming its under the doghouse. Will have to look under
there. Still need to do a load of laundry but I'm not in the mood
for that.
Don't know what else I feel like doing, but I'm sure I'll find something.
Y'all have a great day, be safe.

Good morning!
Sun is out, birds are chirping, a good start to the day! Gonna be really hot this weekend tho! Up to near 100* with high humidity! :o I work this afternoon and all day tomorrow so will be in AC!

I may have a buyer for my little Jeep! The gal is coming down on Sunday from Duluth to look at it. Yay!

Hope you all have a good day! :)
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good Morning to All - beautiful day here in Monument Valley - this is our last full day here, tomorrow we go north just a few miles.
Posted a blog full of pictures from Sunrise to Sunset that Bill took. Never can get too many pictures of this place. http://travelinginrvandlivinginlasvegas.blogspot.com/
Hope you have good luck with your Jeep buyer Barbie.

Going to be 90 today again. I am not doing well in the heat and elevation. I went out to get propane and groceries and to visit Aztec Ruins National Monument. Hot walking around outdoors, but it reminds me a lot of Chaco Canyon, at least from pictures of that place. I want to go there someday, but I am going to try to take a tour so I don't have to drive my motorhome on the long dirt road to get there. Anyway, I just felt shaky and had abdominal cramps all day yesterday.

Part of my problem is that I have irritable bowel syndrome. I have kept it under control by eating small meals more often, but the last couple of days have been a real problem. I hardly ate anything yesterday, but tried to drink enough fluids. It hit me in the morning and then afternoon when I was driving home--had problems finding places to pull over this big thing. Anyway feel OK today.

Ava, sounds like you are adjusting to retirement. Nothing to do and all day to do it in!

Going to have a visitor tonight and tomorrow!!! Going to be a secret, but I will let you know tomorrow. ;)

I had to bring the dog to the vet for his 6 month shot and annual check up. Good thing he had to go because he has a bladder infection. I got back just as one of the therapists got here.

CarolB, we have 2 trees at the end of the drive way. A big oak and the pecan tree next to it. It really wasn't raining very much or storming. One of the therapists had just gotten in the house. I don't know what it would have done to someone standing in the yard. I think I'm going to run if I even hear thunder in the distance. Someone is suppose to come replace the windows some time today. I thought of you and your gardening. I planted 2 tomato plants in a container and I got one tomato so far. I guess you will be out sunbathing behind your new 6 foot fence.
