Congrats, Laura! You've been counting this down for so long and have so much good stuff happening.

Awww, thanks you guys! But I have 2 more days of school left.

I'm basically done, though. The room has been stripped, everything given away, and we're simply hanging out watching videos and playing on the chromebooks.

I had a delightful party at the beach on Saturday with a mix of friends from school and camping. Couldn't have been nicer. I didn't want anything at school since I've only been there 4 years. So I'll quietly walk out with the kids on Thursday and start the next chapter!

The other big event is the sale of my Azusa home. It was only on the market for 10 days, and I got 15 offers, all for over asking. The offer I accepted was $31,500 over asking. Needless to say I was in a state of shock for a few days while I let it sink in. So my partner & I will be moving to San Juan Capistrano, into an absolutely lovely mobile home park just 2 miles from the beach in mid-August. We've purchased a custom-made home, and it won't be ready until then. Between now & then I'll be living in Cypress with Alice. No big trips for us this summer. It's all about getting moved. We have several planned for the fall, though!

Lots of changes! I'll be glad when we're finally settled into our forever home.
