Chillin on Tuesday

Good Morning. I'm not just chillin in my recliner, but it's frezing outside. Only 28 degrees. Same yesterday too. At least it has been sunny during the day and in the 40's and 50's. With my trailer dewinterized, I'm not happy. Water tank and low point valves have been drained, but Hot Water tank has not. Daytime sun helps with that.

Nothing much doing here. Just been finishing up mods etc., in the trailer and getting it ready to roll in a few weeks. Waiting for a call for my new tires, then will go get that done. Otherwise same old. My neighbor who had the double lung transplant about 4 years ago and has been in rejectiion tnis past year, pased away yesterday, so will be going to the funeral on Friday.

Good morning Sue and all.. it will be 91 today and up to 97 by Thursday but I live in Florida what can I say... had the estate sale disappointed I did not sell more I don't know the total yet she has not told me I still have at least half of it left I have to find someplace to donate it I have two couches two recliner chairs a couple of tables and a bunch of kitchen stuff and knick-knacks wall hangings you name it I got it I wish you all lived close you could come and pick it over.... I've also decided I'm no longer going to try and sell it myself I'm going to list it with the real estate lady down the street was my Dad's friend I've had it I'm stressed out and it's a hassle I can't do it anymore I've been doing it too long.... if I could have been doing it with less stress and less hassle I probably could continue but I can't.... on a better note my Dad's friend Ron as a fireman and he's going to help me find a leak on my propane and fix it doing the happy dance about that... I also gave him the chest freezer here he went to his hunting camp up and West Virginia and someone broke in and tried to steal it and in the process ruined it so I told him he could have this one he's done so much for me I'll give him whatever he might need from this house.... well I guess that's all for now hopefully I'm going to have fun stuff to report and another month or so...B safe...donna

Good morning! It froze here last night, too, but it's sunny now and should be in the mid-sixties by this afternoon. Lovely day.

Today I'm taking the friend who looked after my house out to lunch, and we might go off to salvage, too. Always interesting to see what turns up at univ. salvage -- you just can't anticipate.

It's funny how hard it is to settle in here after being in the woods, for the dog as well as for me. It's too noisy, there are too many streetlights, and the world smells of asphalt instead of trees. Drew and I are both twitchy.

Good morning
good thing I have a spare vehicle cause my car is the shops for a few days.
It won't stay running, needs two relays that are on order. Then they can
do the diagnostics. My suspicion is a fuel filter but we will see.
Dinner with daughter last night and took them all for a ride in the mh.
Still waiting on test results from the doctor, and also waiting on the new
coffee pot from amazon.
Need to go to the grocery store today, it would be a good day to buy ice
cream cause I turned on the fridge yesterday and its good and cold.
Think I might buy some liquor too, its been a long time and I'm feeling
due for a cocktail of some sorts.
We had rain overnight and its still damp and cool right now, the forecast
says two days of this.
Time to get dressed and roll, many things to do today. Y'all have a great

Did my usual dumb thing and forgot to take my pills last night. That always makes me have a horrible night's sleep--up an down constantly with tons of nightmares. Finally got up to use bathroom at 7:00 am and discovered my pills sitting there. Too late for night pills, so I took morning ones a little early, then went back to sleep and slept soundly until 11:00 am!

Just going to relax and do some work for my class today. Tomorrow morning, I will take motorhome and drive to son's house to pick up my new credit card, then head to dealer to get my slide looked at. Might stop at Penneys to pick up a couple of things, and then hope they can fix it fast. If I can get out of there by 4 or 5, I will head south and west to another state park more on my way to Kansas, instead of coming back up here north of the area. Keeping my fingers crossed at an easy outcome on the slide.

In the meantime, front half of RV seems awfully small. I keep bumping into things, which is what it would be like without any slides at all. Back slide is out, so more space back there.

Good thing I don't have to take any pills because I can't remember to take vitamins very often.

I have been in Penny's 3 or 4 times looking for a new purse. They are the only ones that sell Liz Claiborne purses, my favorite. The purse I have has 5 zipper pockets and the new one don't have that many. Since Liz Claiborne made a deal with Penny's their purses are getting cheaper and cheaper and I don't mean the price.

I had a dentist appointment this morning so my son came to the hospital early. I told him I would come home and take a shower and relieve him for tonight. He has back trouble and the chair beds are not easy to sleep on. We are still waiting to see if Harold can go to rehab and which one. The one at the hospital is too intense for him now. They tell us they are going to do something and it takes all day.
