Good morning all! Beautiful morning here so far. Strong storms supposed to move in this afternoon. I'm going to go over and help DS lay pex tubing in basement of new house. He has a schedule in his mind so will work with him until the rain moves in! Guess I'd better take a change of clothes too!

Martha, sorry to hear about Harold. I know about being away from home and having to rush home. Only I had to try to get a flight! Donna, take a deep breath and remember one step at a time!

Not much else happening here. Need to get busy and get a couple of things done before I take off. Need to get to Petco for dog food on my way to son's. Have a great day, hope everyone is safe with the crazy weather happening.

Good Morning Everyone !! We're having a rainy day here. Martha, so sorry Harold is having problems, hope he is ok soon. I never remember Rabbits, got up at 4, after laying awake for 30 mins or so, and really the brain was only working on all I needed to do here, no rabbits  got dressed and at it, will probably crash after lunch.

Donna, hope those guys are there, not fun waiting !! Looks like a rainy day over the east, hopefully no more then rain, but thinking its not going to be good in some places. So many deaths already. Take care everyone. Stay Safe !!,

Set long enough, just checking in IF this will post, service not to good here,

Good morning gals! :D

Still nasty cold here! Won't even get out of the 30's today! Brrr! Is it really May 1st? Feels more like Feb 1st! :(

Martha, hoping and praying that Harold can recover quickly. Strokes can do a lot of damage if not caught quickly. Sounds like his wasn't too severe.

On my way for a much needed massage! One more day of the haircut sale and then 3 days off! Yay
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Checking in from CArol's in NC where I have been helping CArol take "stuff" to the thrift store and reminding her it's all stuff, haha. No rabbits here. I'm sure I shouted "No bark" to Thistle sometime after midnight since he's been alerting me several times a night that there is "something" out there...usually the neighbor's dogs. Doesn't make for a good night's sleep.

Rain is supposed to end here by early afternoon, followed by nice weather late today through Wednesday.

Hope everyone remains safe through the stormy weather.

No Rabbits for me either. Was awakened at 5:15 AM by an idiot down in the exercise room dropping weights. I don't like to be a complainer, however this is going to be reported as weight room isn't supposed to be used until 6 AM. Those loud bangs frighten Casey and awakened her too.

Other than that, I'm fine. Got a coupe of MD appointments this week. Getting the eyes checked and getting a facial skin cancer taken off.

Our weather is beautiful and the jacarandas are blooming.

Good morning Everybody. Martha, I am so sorry to learn about Harold's stroke. I'm sending a big hug your way.

Is there anybody on the Forum who might be interested in sharing a room with me on a 60-day cruise around South America?
The cruise begins and ends in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and goes through the Panama Canal and is from Jan 18th to March 18th. The boat is the Island Princess and you can see the full itinerary and cost by going to Princess Cruises.com. Please pm if you are interested. Peggy

Good morning, all. I am headed to Detroit and got sleepy on the freeway, so stopped to eat something and have a caffeine break. It is raining, but not too hard at the moment. Will be on turnpike in just a few minutes.

Sorry to hear about Harold, but nothing posted on this forum about that. I am guessing it was on Facebook???

Had an interesting experience last night. Got home and found CO detector chirping, so I got my stool and went to put another battery in it. It started smoking and battery got extremely hot, so I unplugged the whole detector. In small print on the sides, it said to unplug before changing the battery!! They really need a larger warning because short people like me can barely reach it anyway, let alone read fine print at a distance as we are craning our necks. Anyway, I will have to go out and buy a new one as I am pretty sure this one is toast--literally!

Judy I think she posted re Harold on yesterday's morning post near end because I'm not connected via FB but I read it last night.
All stable here. A week ago temps in 60's and showers. By weekend mid to high 70's and by Wednesday they say mid 90's so I guess going directly to summer! I'm about over my cold but cough will stay a bit longer.
Safe travels all.

No rabbits for me either and no excuse as I didn't even go to bed until after 3 AM.
Nothing very interesting going inhere - continuing to deal with several health issues, tests, etc and hiring people to get what I can done outside.
Only excitement other than Nicky catching a squirrel has been weather related - on day 4 of wind advisories or warnings plus tornado watch yesterday. Wind has been so bad, hard to walk in it at times. Sure glad I didn't have to drive in it. No real damage around the area but a lot of tree limbs and other debris down around my house.
Martha, so sorry about Harold.
Congrats to Barbie and BJ on both sales and purchases.
Hope Lark survived her first RV trip without too much stress.

Finished up writing the evaluations for my team at work today and my spring seasonal work is officially completed for another year. Yes there were other projects available but luckily I had already planned for May dog shows and heading off in the RV just so I wouldn't accidently forget and agree to keep working this year. That is the part the I appreciate with this job. If I had been available I would have been assigned project for the next two months like last year but as long as you complete the projects that you accept they are happy to bring you back when you are available. :)

The new puppy is settling in. She took her first RV trip this past weekend and was there to share in the excitement while Josef went Best of Breed both days and finished his Grand Championship at less than 22 months.

Hope everyone is able to make some good adventures in the coming month. And Martha, sending you some positive energy to just keep moving through the next weeks. Stubborn men aren't always the most cooperative patients. Here is hoping that he listens better than at home when you kept asking him not to do stuff..... :?

Just read your post Sarah. Sorry to hear about all the testing but very glad to know that you are picking up the phone and getting help in around the house to complete stuff you shouldn't be attempting any more. Maybe there will be a "downsizing" in your future, too.

No rabbits here. Didn't even think about it until seeing this post now.

Got the store opened for the season today. There's still so much to do. When the season gets busy I might feel like things are slowing down, LOL. These first few days are long ones for me, so I'm exhausted. Hopefully I'll be able to get to sleep early!
