Rainy Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Rainy Thursday

Postby Colliemom » Thu Apr 20, 2017 7:27 am

Bit wet here in North/Central MI. Was supposed to go get my hew rig today, but going to call and see if it can wait till tomorrow. Heavy rain showers predicted for today. No fun driving with rig in that, not to mention trying to do a walk through inside and out, plus getting hitching equip transferred.

Lots if exciting things going on this spring, new rigs, new pups, such fun. Some heading out on the road including me. Should be a good summer. Maybe some GTG's might pop up too, who knows.

So, off to the shower, get dressed and find something to get into. Want to make some changes in my garage, so might putter out there or might not. Neighbor offered to make a valance for my one window if I get another curtain to cut down to match, so might take acrun down to store and get that. Have a nice day all.

Good morning Sue and the rest of you...

Made a run to the new house yesterday with the carpeting from my old room to the new room. There is no rod in the closet there so I bought a couple of closet organizers and put those together. I am hoping to be moved in (ie. with bed, Lola, and actually living there) by Saturday night.

Gotta make a couple runs today to new place and to storage unit. Have someone coming over to the old house tonight to pick up a bunch of furniture still here. Hopefully the rain will stop by then.

Was stormy yesterday and over night. A little rainy now here but at least the wind has died down. Supposed to be very nice by the weekend again.

Have a great day! :D

My son got a pressure washer last week and he is washing everything. He washed the porches and walkway and is now going to paint them. Everything looks nice but he's making me tired.

I have to go for a laser procedure on my left eye this afternoon. Now I'm getting nervous. The doctor said something about it last year and I didn't want to do it. I could tell a big difference in my vision in one year and he said it would continue to get worse. I don't like things done to my eyes.

I need to start getting ready to leave on Monday. I always manage to leave things off until the last minute. I might go to my sisters on Sunday afternoon and spend the night. That way at least I will be on the road.

We are slowly but surely getting rid of stuff here! One family came by to get a couch and ended up taking two couches, a love seat, two queen beds and the kitchen table and chairs! Awesome!
Made a trip to the new house today with a load. Still have some stuff to sort thru here but pretty much down to the last bit of stuff.

Just making cookies now before heading off to bed. I bought a cheap little toaster oven to bake my cookies in my room at the new place so I don't have to use their oven upstairs so late at night. Will have my microwave down there too.

I ordered a mini dehumidifier for my room too, since it is a little damp and musty down there, being in the basement. Should help keep my sinuses happier. :D

One more week and it will be all over! Whew! Then on to bigger and better things!
