Early Start Tuesday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Early Start Tuesday Morning

Postby Colliemom » Tue Apr 18, 2017 6:14 am

Morning all. Up and at em, showered and dressed and heading out the door in awhile. Appt. at truck dealer to get a recall repair done. Then off to Credit Union to get the green for my trailer :D And stop at insurance office too. Plan on picking it up on Thursday. Good timing as the next three days after that are showing perfect weather. Need to get some brown grass carpet to line inside of pass through storage area. Keeps things from moving around. Aso need some wood to make a shelf inside overhead cabinet as the manufactuers don't do that. Wasted space far as I'm concerned.

Time to get a move on here, so gonna wish you all a nice day and be off.

Sounds as though we were up about the same time Sue. Andy paced the floor most of the night and I got very little sleep. The poor little dog is so frail I don't know where he gets the strength. DH sleeps with his hearing aid out in another room with the door closed. I think tonight he is going to have a little roommate! I'm going for a massage later and will probably sleep through it.
I called our Credit Union to see what their rates were on a used RV and the lowest was 5% :o  That is with automatic payments from our checking account and very good scores. I Googled rates and found some as low as 1.99% but not sure if they make loans to non members. I did see a couple of banks with 2.00% So far I've only had one couple who seemed very interested in Elsie but they haven't called back. I hate to advertise on Craig's list but may need to reconsider.
It has cooled off her thank goodness but the rain continues and the grass gets higher.
Have a happy day where ever you are.

Good morning. Another sunny day today. I can hardly stand this string of nice days! I spent the day in the yard yesterday, more clean up and got the lawn mowed again. Loving it! I finished gathering the metal stuff I wanted to get rid of and got it put out front for pick up. Sure appreciate the borough doing this, saves trying to get it to the dump plus saves me some money! People have been warned about taking things meant for pick up but I saw someone this morning take the old radiator I put out. Probably will sell it for scrap but at least it's gone! I was upstairs and wouldn't have made it outside to stop them. Not sure I wanted to confront them anyway!

Goodness, lots of new rigs and activity. Liz, have a feeling you'll have many gtgs now that you're in your new home! Looks like you found a perfect place for yourself. Tina, love the new addition to your family! Remi will have her whipped in shape in no time! Alice, good to hear you are ready to hit the road! Barbie, things are looking up for you! Enjoy your new TT. Beth, happy you made it to the "heads". A busy time for you!

Jim should be back from his trip so I need to text him to see when he can get Lola taken care of. No trip planned but want to be able to go somewhere if I want! I double checked yesterday to make sure all the paperwork was there for the inspection.

Time to get a move on. I actually slept in a bit this morning, this getting up at 5 or so is so not me! Have a good day and travel safe!

Just getting ready for a big, long day. Lots to do! Once I finish my breakfast (V8 juice), I will clean out my car and start loading it for the storage unit. Probably a couple trips there today. Then tomorrow will be trips to the new place. Then Friday hope to have most of it done by then end of the day. Have Sunday, Mon, Tues off next week if needed, too. My brother is a nervous wreck about getting everything out of here by this weekend tho.

Rainy out today and supposed to rain for the next several days. Always fun moving in the rain..not!

Lots of new rigs and new pets on here lately! Gonna be a fun and interesting summer for many of us!

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Really been tired lately. Decided it is because I have had two full weeks of visiting family and driving--all the way from Georgia to Ohio to Michigan. Besides that, as usual, had to do my income tax at the last minute, and I not only have federal, but Ohio state and local taxes to do. Turbo Tax did OK with first two, but did not recognize Ohio local tax that I had pre-paid, so it showed me owing a bunch of money I do not owe. So, I printed out Ohio state tax and am going to file local electronically before I go for Mammogram this afternoon. Wish me luck that I do not have another "spot" and have to get a needle biopsy again to prove it is just inflammation, as I did last September!

And why am I filing electronically for Ohio local???????? Because I used my last check for the Ohio state taxes and cannot remember where I hid my extra checks. Duh.

I've been trying to reorganize some cabinets and storage areas, but I seem to keep accumulating stuff, and I hate the cluttered look, so I have to prune and find places for the stuff I ordered online and picked up at my son's house. Going to have a fellow instructor visiting on Saturday, so I want things to be neat and clean. (So I can pretend I live that way all the time, of course.)

Very nice campground where I am right now. My usual campground along Lake Erie is closed until May 1, and even the ones that are open have very limited water and no facilities open. Chilly last night, so had to keep electric heater on and use my down throw. That down throw really is handy because it is small and just fits over my body without taking up too much room. It also keeps me really toasty.

Good morning
getting ready to go to camping world to buy a new city water inlet
thing. The old one wasn't opening and that's what popped the hose.
Always scary to go to camping world when I have money in my pocket.
Still working on the motor home too. Mostly organizing but also need to
get my staples purchased. Some canned and non fridge items.
Off I go to CW, y'all have a good day, be safe.

Had a busy day yesterday, drove to Sacramento and back. Had to go pick up my new puppy Emma. I was so not prepared by how tiny she is. Nothing I brought fit her. The harness was way too big. Managed to tighten a collar that would sort of work in her car seat. We stopped once at a rest area for her to stretch and do her business. However she had never had a leash and collar on before so she did a bit of spinning. Put her in her x-pen at bedtime...OMG you would have thought I killed her BUT I perservered and she went to sleep. Heard her about 3 so we got up and I took her out to potty. NOPE not happening so took her in my bed and we slept til 6. Took her outside and she peed. While I was getting my coffee she dashed into her litter box and did her business GOOD GIRL Right now she is a velcro puppy but I think she misses all her littermates. I am finally getting my coffee LOL

Going to work on the leash training after I buy some smaller collars and harness. Blossom was such a quiet dog and this one is very vocal for her size ha ha But oh so cute, I am having fun. I told my friend last night tho "My life is over as I know it" ha ha

A puppy! How'd I miss that! (Facebook post I'm guessing). Congrats Karen. Take a pic of her next to something (coffee cup maybe since she's so small?). Then you can see how much she grows (or not :D )

Just had mammogram. They took a long time afterward consulting with referring Doctor, but it was negative. Yea!! :D

I was really worried because the last one six months ago resulted in a needle biopsy, which was no fun. The doctor at that time who reviewed the results was positive there was a mass until the needle biopsy showed just inflammation. They want me to repeat on both breasts in another 6 months. Yuck.

Karen I too am adjusting to puppy size. Herschel came to me as a one yr old. I haven't had a golden puppy for 18 years....since my Hannah that my daughter claimed her senior year in high school came the summer of 1999. I also thought back to both Audrey and Josef. They both started out traveling in the RV as soon as they arrived. Spaces and routines in the rig are different than here at the house. We are all adjusting. Remi is taking the day shift these last two weeks I will be working and hangs out with her during the day in the double x-pen outside. She stays in her kennel that sits between Audrey and Stuart at night while Remington stays off duty snuggled up on the bed. :) She whined only a little last night. I think she figured out that the big kids were trying to sleep and didn't pay her much attention. What fun is that?

She is a Tibetan Spaniel pup like my other dog was. I really like their temperment so decided on another one.
She will get used to where her bed really is until she gets a bit older and potty training is well established. Maybe less temper tantrum tonite LOL
