. . . the grass has riz, I wonder where the flowers is :D

Mornin' ladies. Beautiful sunny Monday here. Thought of this old saying because I had to cut the grass for the first time yesterday, :( and waiting for the flowers to start blooming. Spent all weekend putting the house back to together after painting, and decided to get all new blinds in the front room, dining room area. What a chore but looks much nicer. Now to just do the regular house cleaning :?

Hope everyone had a good Easter. Not much else happening. Have a good day ladies and stay safe on the roads.

Easter Monday

Postby Colliemom » Mon Apr 17, 2017 7:15 am

Morning all. Hope y'all had a nice day yesterday. Didn't over stuff on the brunches, dinners, deserts and what have you, ha.

So today, back to the every day routines. Course some of you are back to work too. I'm heading outside in a while and either do some fence repair on an old wooden fence at end of my property or just take it down. It's across a natural gas pipeline. Was put up by original property owner. Some posts are rotting out, so I shall see which way I want to go. It does keep the snowmobiles out but at same time, gas company needs access to that right of way, especially in case of emergency. It's in bad need of fresh paint.

Plannng to bring my hew to ne trailer home latrr this week. Neighbors just returned yesterday from picking theirs up in TX wherevthey had it stored for winter. Left i down there when they moved north last summer. So now another trailer graces the drive alongside my old garage.

Beth, ejoyed yout tale of Peaches and the bluebird. Cute. Guess it was welcoming you back.

Have a nice day everyone.

Planting seeds and flowers for my Mom today and cleaning out closets. She has so much stuff!!
Hopefully, she will let go of things as she does not need them, but I know it is hard. Dogwood, azaleas, and other flowers are in bloom so very pretty.
Have a nice day everyone --

Good morning
Trip to walmart today to get a new filter for the waterhose. Had no pressure
last evening and sounded like the pump was kicking on. The little hose connection
Had popped off and the back yard was a little bit flooded.
Also need to do some meal planning and get some stuff in the freezer. Made
spaghetti the other day, 4 meals in the freezer there. In the mood for a tuna casserole.
Few more meals on the list.
Started doing some research on a solar system, I want one but don't know if I'll do that or not, although I think its a good idea.
Finally got my Bigfoot to work, it was operator error. When I turned off the battery disconnect,, (actually, for the first time) it seems that's a necessary thing to do as
it let's the leveler reset itself. That's the way I understand it, and it worked for me.
Still have to get laundry done, I've been putting it off but its down to that point where
I can't ignore it any longer.
Y'all have a great day, and be safe.

I think they are trying to spring summer on us. It's already 85 this morning. We have a 50% chance of rain but I don't seen any on the radar. This is about the time of year our weather changes and rain starts coming from the East instead of the West.

I didn't make anything special for Easter. For some reason I usually think I need a coconut cake and I didn't even think about one until today.

Ava, turning something off and back on seems to be a fix for a lot of things. We have a quick connect for a hose floating around here somewhere. I keep thinking I will see if I can put it on my motorhome and still be able to close the little door. It is getting harder and harder for me to connect the hose without using pliers.

Annie Boo has an appointment at the vet after lunch. It's for a check up on her allergies. Her skin has cleared up but she was running a little fever on her last visit and she sneezes sometimes. It seems like there was something else I needed to do but can't remember what. I'm sure it will come to me when I get back from town.
