Pacific Northwest Campers ? ? ?

Postby smokey101ca » Thu Apr 13, 2017 4:16 pm

Hi

I was wondering if there are any campers in the Washington-Oregon coastal areas. I signed up a couple years ago but things happened - now I am ready to go.

Looking for a group or some good spots to visit. I have done Larabee State park and Birch Bay state park. I drove down to Ventura Beach last year.

Its the cat and I - off for some adventures.

There is a tentative GTG at Eagle Lake in No. Calif. In August. Come on down. :-)

Welcome back....yes life gets complicated. I'm out here in Ohio but sooner or later I will make it back to the west coast. :)

I will be heading that direction from MN after Labor Day in the fall, on my way to Southern California.

My schedule after Labor Day is to be at Tillicum Campground from Sept 11-15 and at Nehalem SP from Sept 16-22, then Cape Lookout from Sept 23-27 and finally at Bullards Beach--all of these in Oregon. I like Washington, but I am headed to Yosemite, I hope, in October and then to Southern California after a stop in Napa.

Anyone is welcome to join me. Napa is expensive, by the way, but the campground is almost in downtown and has full hookups and is very nice. I do a lot of biking in Napa, and my son's new house is less than a mile from the EXPO campground. (There is a slightly cheaper one up the hill, but it is dirty, dusty, crowded, and awful.)
