It's Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Wednesday

Postby Othersharon » Wed Apr 12, 2017 5:33 am

Good morning all. I've been up for quite awhile. All the dust and whatnot yesterday did a real number on the allergies! So didn't sleep well. I needed to get up early anyway cause I'm going to the outlets with a friend but this is crazy!

I spent the last several days outside getting things done out there. I realize what a slug I was all winter, muscles are screaming! I heard the street sweeper on some of the nearby streets sondispite the wind I went out and swept off as much of the gravel the snowplows through up on the grass back onto the street. And then they didn't even come by! But at least it's done and the rain last night cut down on the dust that was still blowing! I finally gave up mid afternoon, came in and got a shower and clean clothes and worked inside. The house has suffered the last few days!

Need to go back and read what everyone's doing! Kinda just hit and mess the last few days! Hope everyone has a great day and travel safe.

Good Morning O'Sharon and all who follow. Getting up at crack of dawn isn't bad. I'm up most mornings around 6ish, sometimes closer to 7, but actually like the early hour, especially this time of year. Yep, the ol' muscles are going to feel it for awhile. Takes a cuple weeks to get back in the swing of things again.

Beth, did you say good morning to the heads this morning  Barbie, all the snow you had, went north into the U.P., so none here. Anita seems to be having great fun in VA, CArol is on the road toward home, slow but sure, and some of you are pushing the tax deadline, Sandi on way to Hawaii. Seems everybody's busy.

Not sure what's on my agenda today. Been damp and chilly but supposed to be sunny today after some morning clouds. I need to set a reservation at a state park on my route oute out of MI to PA, so will donthat this morning. Trip is pretty well set, posted in GTG section if anybody wants to join me along the way.

So, have a nice day everyone :)

Mornin' Sharon, Sue and all that follow ~~~
Picked up Colt 2.0 on Saturday and spent 3 nights camping with BIL. Not restful at all, but everything is set-up. Not happy with the dealer prep. They did absolutely no cleaning, so all the cabinets had to be cleaned inside & out. Peeled the stickers off of the windows (i.e. stock sticker, etc), but washing those will have to wait until next time.

And going to write a nasty gram to them (unless I cool down). They left the low point drains open, so obviously had to crawl around on wet ground to shut them so the tank would fill. Then when at the dump station, all the drain valves were open and, well ~ you know  Luckily (?) all potty stuff was done at the shower house right across from us, so it was all just soapy water from the cleaning. Granted I should have looked, but any doofus should know to close the valves after dewinterizing. Ah, well, the restful vaycay will be coming in May.

I tried to catch up with reading and can't remember everything, but Congrats on the house sale Barbie. One less thing done and you can be on your way. Anita, looks like another fun rally you went to.

Have a good day ladies, and stay safe wherever you are.

I made it to Ohio after a very long drive yesterday from Knoxville. As usual, lots of traffic on I-75. Today I am going to visit the Annie Oakley museum near Dayton and then head east towards my son's house, though I will not make it the entire distance. Got to finish my taxes tonight and have a new set of students so new things to grade, so must start tonight. Got service appointment for Friday and will see kids afterwards.

Not much else going on, but have set up lunches with some friends next week, so am looking forward to spending weekend with grandkids and next week getting doctor appointments and seeing friends.

Off to work shortly here. It rained overnight. Yesterday I woke to all the snow but by mid afternoon it had all melted and was sunny and beautiful out! The grass literally turned green overnight!

Tomorrow I go see the TT! I am nervous! Lots of things to remember to look for and ask about and a big decision to make! :o Didn't find anyone who can come with me who knows about TT so am on my own.

I will be very glad to get moved into my new place and close on the house! Then I can relax and take it easy for the rest of the summer and look forward to new adventures and fun times! These past 3 months have been so stressful! I think I see more gray hair on my head now! :o

Have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Sue, I'll get to Keystone this afternoon. It'll be wonderful to "talk to the heads" again.

It'll be about a 4 hour drive today, maybe a little longer with a stop or two. Then I'm already meeting someone at the store tomorrow. There are some changes happening this year... Will keep me on my toes to get us ready and open.
