Tuesday Traveling Day

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday Traveling Day

No one's opened coffee? :o :o

I'm taking my time as outside temps are chilly... But it's to be a beautiful day. I'm going to get ready soon and dump, hook up, then drive all of a couple hours.

Safe sitting or traveling, where ever you are

Woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! Everything covered in snow! Very pretty but snow is already melting and falling off the trees. Will be in the 60's the rest of the week and 70 over the weekend.

Luckily the sun was not out since I just got done with the eye doctor and my eyes are still dilated. Sun on that white snow would have been miserable! One eye is better (vision-wise) and the other about the same so that is good. Have an appointment in June for a consultation on my droopy eyelids. Now that I have insurance I am getting all my appointments in. Mammogram next week, physical the following week and as soon as I find out what dentists take my insurance, will set up an appointment for that too. Way overdue for all these things.

Have a good friend stopping over later for a haircut and chat. I met up with her and her hubby in Quartszite in January. We worked together a long, long time ago and have stayed in touch ever since.

Probably nothing happening here for Easter. Just working on getting my stuff organized. I got a small storage room to put some of my things in so I don't have to haul it all to the new place. I can start bringing bins there right away.

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Hello !!! On the road again here!! Had to stop and have a small fix done in Ocala, now on my way to visit with Liz and check her new place out and visit for a few days. In no rush, just enjoying the ride. Route brought me on a different back road more horse country and included a new one huddled up to mom. Made my day !!

No real news just headed north slowly, and enjoying every mile :D

Stay Safe everyone what ever you're doing,

I cooked chicken fried steak for lunch. I haven't cooked that in a long time. I seldom fry anything because it makes such a mess. Now I need to go to town but would rather take a nap.

Yesterday a friend wanted to go eat Chinese food. I told her I would buy her dinner if she would bring me to the airport to pick up my son's van. He will be gone all week and he didn't want to pay for parking all week. I couldn't bring him to the airport because I was camping and no one wants Harold to go to the airport. I forgot to pick up my tax papers and was too lazy to go to Walmart.

There is bad weather in Texas again around San Antonio. There is rain to the West and Northwest of us but looks like it will miss us. We could use some rain for a change.

CArol, I would like to see Liz's new place. It sounds perfect for her. I enjoyed seeing the horse ranches when I took the side road to get to the GTG instead of the interstate. I am going to Texas in 2 weeks and still trying to figure out how to miss Houston. Trying to go South is a mess and going North is way out of the way.

Way past coffee time, too early for wine here.
We've actually had several beautiful weather days lately. The only spoiler is all the pollen.
Not much going on with me as I have mostly been trying to get an overwhelming amount of paperwork done including taxes. Got to find a way to get better organized. 2016 finally under control except for some sorting and filing. Haven't started 2017 yet. Have to decide about staying with Quicken 2007 on an antique Mac or upgrading to something more current.
Hope most of you are enjoying some splendid spring weather.

Traveling day for me, also. I drove from north of Knoxville to almost to Dayton--272 miles! Whew. I did take a break to see the Kentucky arts place near Lenoir. Pretty drive through the mountains--or at least it would have been if it had not been for the construction and traffic on I-75 which required a lot of concentration.

I am glad to hear I am not the only person who has not completed taxes! Federal are done, but need to work on State. Got Norton, so have all the paperwork downloaded so just need to enter it. Hope I have not forgotten anything.

Making myself some Chinese food tonight. Put the meat in with some soy sauce and fresh ginger. Now need to cook rice and fry everything up.
