So it is late. I should be sleeping, I've got an early morning. Driving to NH tomorrow to choose a seasonal spot. First time on my own. Wondering what questions I wish I knew to ask. These are the ones I have: How bad are the bugs? How is the wi-fi? Internet? Are these two things the same, so in other words, how do I get computer access? Can I have pots of flowers and tomatoes ? How do I know if I have 30 or 50 amps?
Head is spinning.

Don't count on any cgs internet. Make sure you'll have cell service and provide your own. It's a bonus when you can use the cgs service. Even when they have decent service people abuse it streaming, etc. And, yes, NH gets bugs... Especially those big black flies early in the season.

Make sure the site has full hookups.

Google 30 and 50 amp and you will probably find pics showing the physical difference. Normally if you have a smaller rig you will be 30 and if you have larger rig it will be 50. Of course if you have a manual it will also tell you. Good luck!

You might want to stay at a campground for a weekend before you sign anything. Ideally, you could stay a weekend now and later in the summer before you decide, but I am guessing you want someplace for now.

Ask about rules, posted and unofficial, and how they handle noisy campers, even those who have signed a seasonal contract. You don't want loud parties at night or drunks. A good place will toss them out and lose the money, but some will put up with stuff because they do not want to lose income.

I am assuming you are at least going to spend one night there before you commit. If you can, wander around and talk to other campers. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself and ask about problems.

Long day. Just got home. The one that I was hoping to like was slightly better than the few others I looked, but, it wasn't where I want to live. How depressing.
Will revisit this another day. I am so done right now.
