Springtime Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Springtime Sunday

Happy Morning all,

Another gorgeous day on tap here. Was outside all day yesterday enjoying it. Got the fence moved, so that's done. Few little loose ends to do. Yes, Irmi, I am taking breaks from working  Had two days last week of lousy weather, so was rather idle in the house. Dogs and I enjoyed a nice walk in the afternoon yesterday.

So nice to see so many posts yesterday. Seems all is well with everybody and you are just enjoying life. Peggy, sorry you are having wet, cold weather, but you had a gorgeous winter. Katherine, new red trailer. How wonderful. And now going to enjoy your "bike". Have some wonderful times.

I realized last night that I put wrong dates down for PA trip. I will be in Gettysburg (Gettysburg Campground) from June 8-13 and then in Lancaster county (Country Acres Campground) from June 13-16.

Got to get a move on here. Heading for mass in a little while. Need to wash hair and get dressed. Have a nice day everyone.

Certainly a Spring morning here in south central Texas. Just now enduring Phase 1 of a rather large storm as it is passing thru the area. Rain at about 7" per hour. Lots of different weather for a Sunday morning. Hail golf ball size and some larger, and some smaller but only pea stuff here. Tornado signatures all over the place! I was supposed to leave today but I did tell the office if the storm was happening this morning I would stay another night. So it looks like I will stay another night, too much rain and still storming south of San Antonio. It could be headed toward Martha, Sarah and could go some NE. It is that time of the year. Some of you ladies will be planting flowers and veggies shortly. Of course, hitch itch is a powerful motivator for travels. Hope you have a nice day with lots of fun!

Good morning from N. Central CA - another gorgeous, sunny spring day - pink crepe myrtle trees and potato tree are in full bloom - so pretty!
Sue, was it Sharon who got the red trailer?

Chilly morning in Deming. So Peaches and I are cuddling some extra time. Should be a gorgeous day and I don't have a long drive to where I expect to stop tonight. No reason to rush.

The local weather kept breaking into Sunday Morning with reports of hail. It was a cell about 20 miles Northwest of us and it was going Northeast and they were saying 2" hail. Then they were saying a possible tornado East of Lafayette. I haven't heard of any damage yet. There is a lot more coming out of Texas today and tonight. Birdie, probably a good day to wait it out.

Linda, what is a potato tree? I have never heard of that. I think Sharon got a red truck. I don't remember anyone getting a red trailer.

Need to get dressed before Harold decides to start cooking.

My favorite day of the week--when all the locals leave the campground and I have it to myself again! This place is not really noisy, but it really filled up on Friday afternoon. And we had some excitement last night about 9 pm. Three ambulances and a small firetruck came down the peninsula I am on to the very end spots. It was very dark and far away so I did not see what was going on, but I think they transported at least one person to the hospital. Lots of red flashing lights for a while, at least. No sirens. Just posted a link to photos of campground on my blog in General area on forum.

Going to tackle all of my maps today and sort them out into regions and put rubber bands around them. Haven't done that for a couple of years, so past time. Need to make it easier to find stuff and get rid of duplicates and old maps.

Good travels, all.

Hi ladies~~~

Missed the roll call yesterday but was able to read what's up during breaks. The house is a mess. Everything is crammed into the spare bedroom for the painter this week. Then in 2 weeks, all the carpets are getting cleaned. With the new roof that's on, I may list the house in May. We'll see.

Picking up Colt 2.0 next week and then a 3-nighter at a nearby CG so I can set things up. I'd like to go thru the bins in the garage today and make sure I know the 'absolute needs' bins, so I can make sure those make it in the Mar-e for next weekend. Might be nippy at night next weekend (good furnace test), but they day will be just where I like 'em (60s or so). Soooo excited.

Stay safe ladies, especially those on the road or in the path of bad weather.

Martha - potato tree - Solanum Erianthum - potato tree. Can be either a bush or tree. Mine is a tree with purple flowers.

Yep, Sharon bought the red truck to tow behind her RV to haul her bike to replace her trailer. Easy to get confused!

Worked today but was really slow so they sent me home a little early. I immediately took a 2 hour nap! So much stress wears me out! I have a very busy week ahead working on the house!

Will go see my brother tomorrow at the hospital and get an update.

Hope those storms down south mellow out and move on! 7 inches of rain per hour is too much!! Stay high and dry those of you in the path!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
